Melissa Rycroft Shows Off 'Perfect' Honeymoon

Everything's coming up roses for Melissa Rycroft. The reality TV star who gained fame by winning the coveted proposal on 'The Bachelor' finale -- only to be dumped in favor of that season's runner-up -- has turned her 15 minutes of fame into a viable career. If her recent a stint on 'Dancing With the Stars' and a gig on 'Good Morning America' weren't enough, Rycroft has just returned from an "absolutely perfect" honeymoon with her new husband, Tye Strickland.

Rycroft shared details of their romantic getaway with In Touch Weekly -- and Popeater has the exclusive pics after the jump.

On their trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, two months after the wedding: "We appreciate the trip more since we had time between the wedding and the honeymoon. It has been absolutely perfect, from the location to the hotel to the people to the ocean to the sunset. I don't think we could have asked for anything more."

On married life, according to Tye: "It's the greatest thing ever. You get to share everything and know that no matter what, they are always going to stand by your side. I've learned to appreciate her more. No matter what she does, Melissa puts other people before herself. When she's traveling, I just fall apart. I went to bed at 1:30 the other night when she was in LA, and I was like, 'Where is Melissa to tell me when to go to bed?'"

On married life, according to Melissa: "I usually cook dinner, and we'll eat together. With Tye working as much as he does and me traveling, our time together is limited. There is just nothing we'd rather do than cuddle on the couch and unwind."

Ok She got jilted on TV. Thousands of women get turned down. He did do it in a gentle way, and at least he was honest on how he felt and avoided a future possibly a much worse breakup. She has been on Dancing with the Stars, Entertainment Tonight and given many other perks. So please let the rest of us get on with our lives. Melissa quit rubbing it in our face. We are glad you have found happiness.

I am tired of the media poking Melissa Rycroft down our throats. Enough already. The only thing she did was get rejected on TV by a dude that decided she was definitely not the right choice for him. They really should have made that decision when they WERE DATING MONTHS BEFORE THEY WERE CONTESTANTS ON THE SHOW, AS THEY WERE INTRODUCED AND MET AND WENT OUT IN DALLAS. Don't believe everything you see on the tube especially on The Bachelor.
