Jon Gosselin, TLC Settle 'Plus 8' Lawsuit

The standoff between Jon Gosselin and TLC is over.

The reality TV father of 8 and the network that chronicled his family's life have reached an agreement in a lawsuit that claimed Gosselin was in breach of contract for appearing on other TV shows, RadarOnline.com reports.

"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC," the network said.

"Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' and although all terms are confidential, he is hopeful that TLC will move forward with the best interests of the Gosselin family," his lawyer Mark Heller said in a statement to Radar.

"Sometimes litigants that kiss and make up find their relationship is better the second time around. As Jon's attorney, I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey," the statement continued.

My mother favorite saying is "where little is known, little is
required." The guy was not a good husband (he cheated openly in
front of children) is not a good father (exposing his children to
media frenzy about his carrying on) and basically is in need of a
spiritual awakening. Yet, to make remarks about his mother is low and then to add to it by being racist is uncalled for. I am a white female by chance that makes me better than no one. Tonight when I go to bed I will say a pray for you that you can find away to be happy without making ugly remarks against others.

Kte only treated jon badly because he was the biggest, and a lazy bum. Kate did all the work with the kids at her feet. Jon sit on his bot and did absolutly nothing. I would have treated him a lot worse than she did. Its tough raising kids, but 9 at a time,,, no one should have to raise their husband. His mother didnt do her job, Kate had to do that too. I wish Kate and the children all the very best, they deserve it.

Evidently you did not see all of the episodes as I did. I felt so sorry for Jon at times and so did my husband. Jon was constantly doing something like putting furniture together, putting carpet down, organizing the garage or whatever. Kate usually did the food work, but Jon pretty much handled everything else. I do not agree with what happened with Jon later when the marriage went down, but I think he got blamed for more than he should have. I agree Kate is a great organizer, but I don't know what went wrong in their marriage other than he got tired of her trying to run the whole show. She did try to make him look like an ass many times. She was constantly hollering at him and belittling him for something. No man wants to feel like he is is not a MAN!

I just can't believe they are going to allow John back on the show...he's a lousy father (he's a child himself) and a really awful husband. He's just about out of money and now he's using his family again to make his living. He has no pride.

The best way for this family to go away is low ratings if
they appear on TV again

The public has the say so and the TV exectives will listen
if there is a low rating. I for one will not watch that
show because Kate is just as money hungry as Jon if not more.
