Take Notes, John Mayer: Here Are Hollywood's Greatest Boyfriends and Husbands

This week, every tabloid cover focuses on the cheating and trash talking ways of bad boys in Hollywood. From John Mayer's TMI Playboy interview to Tiger Woods' affair, their bad behavior is getting way more publicity than it should. But what about the good guys in Hollywood? At PopEater, nice guys definitely don't finish last, so here is our ode to the real life Lloyd Doblers and Alvy Singers of Hollywood. See who made the list ... after the jump.

Ashton Kutcher
Sure, he tweets photos of his wife's bikini-clad behind, but we can forgive him for that since he clearly keeps the romance alive. He's sweet, considerate and talks so lovingly of Demi Moore that we can't help but admire him. Despite his age, there's a reason you don't hear constant rumors about the state of their marriage -- because it's boring to report about a stable relationship. But in this case, for Ashton and Demi, boring is good.

Matthew McConaughey
You'd expect McConaughey to be the consummate bachelor -- maybe because he made the line "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age" famous. But he's defied our expectations, not just as a boyfriend but as a father as well. McConaughey, longtime girlfriend Camila Alves and their children are one big happy family, and we congratulate him for it.

John Krasinski
While it's difficult to imagine the lovable John Krasinski, who plays Jim Halpert on 'The Office,' with anyone but Pam -- it's clear he's swept actress Emily Blunt off her feet in real life. Although Blunt and Krasinski have kept their relationship out of the public eye, their body language shows they're in love.

As for their impending nuptials, Blunt told PopEater that staying mum and keeping their relationship out of the tabloids is key to having a great relationship in Hollywood. "It's vital. It's the whole deal -- you have to have a dual existence. You have the acting side of it and the business life, and even doing press junkets and stuff, there's an element of performance in it. And then you have your private life and your downtime, and you have to make that divide." That's good enough for us.

Seal
Every time Heidi Klum opens her mouth about husband Seal, it is clear she has a good man by her side. In a 2007 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple opened up about how they keep the spark alive. Even after having three children together, the passion never died, Seal said in the joint interview. "The most common hiccup," says Seal, is when the first child comes along. "And it turns into all about the kids, which is understandable because they're miraculous. But then you've got to put each other first. You know, she will always be number one for me."

"Is it true?" asks Winfrey.

"I have the most romantic husband," says Klum. "I do."

Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been married for over 21 years. We'll repeat that -- 21 years! These days, that's an eternity -- Hollywood or not. And while Hanks' career has eclipsed his wife's, theirs is a partnership of equals. (Besides, she's the one who persuaded him to make 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding.') Tom, we commend you.

Peter Facinelli

Peter Facinelli is definitely a family man when it comes to being with wife Jennie Garth and their three daughters: Luca Bella, Lola Ray and Fiona Eve. "I am not a big 'look at me' person, so I don't go to a lot of premieres. I am more of a family guy who stays at home with my kids. I'm more known as being the soccer dad," Facinelli told PopEater. We cannot get enough of Facinelli, who is a loving husband and family man.

Matt Damon
Matt Damon went out and got himself a non-celebrity for a wife, Luciana Barroso. Then they had a kid. Now they parade around on the red carpet looking so much in love, it almost makes us want to puke. We say almost, because it's so darn cute. Damon is a devoted husband and father. And we're grateful, because it gives us hope that there are more guys like him out there.

I am wishing Tiger and his family all the best! I hope they ignore all the public and dig deep into thier hearts and do the best thing for thier children......We are all human and have different addiction, unforchantly his was women and I believe that is one of the worse.

sex addition isn't an addiction to "women" it's and addiction to sex.... there are many sex addicts who do NOT cheat on their spouses, but who instead engage in sexual gratification through pornography, etc... Tiger (a very stupid nickname imho) could have satisfied his addiction in a way that did not put his family in harms way... it was a choice... and personally, I clicked on this article to read about all the great husbands and boyfriends.. I am so sick of "Tiger" and his self absorbed behavior... I could care a less about him. He should have never even been a part of this article.

Elin should give him another chance. If she stays she will be seen as the hero who saved Tigers career. It takes a strong woman that keeps her family together after such an embarassing situation but why make the Hoe's happy. They tried to destroy her marriage so why make the Witches happy. The escorts had their fifteen minutes and should go back to doing what Hoe's do best. I mean you can't put perfume on a pig. If Tiger continues to cheat she can always take the money and run. No one would blame her if she left and took a big chunk of Tigers change with her.

Um, excuse me, but what did Witches have to do with Tiger Woods' philandering? It's tough enough being a member of a minority religion that almost nobody understands and way too many people still want to burn at the stake, without being blamed for some sports star's narcissistic behavior as well. Could we please stop using "Witch" as a catchall pejorative term for women? How would you like it if people threw around the name of whatever-religion-you-belong-to in the same manner?

Screw that. Maybe if he'd cheated once it wouldn't have been as bad and I might see Tiger's wife forgiving him but he was out porking women all over the country. He doesn't deserve her and she shouldn't bother with him.

This apology was so over rehearsed. Only a fool without the eye for what was an intense coaching job by PR people could have bought this dog and pony act. From the looking down at the appropriate time, and looking so pathetically into the camera, to the hugging of his mom at the end, after what he thought was a job well done. Every frown, every forlorn look, etc. etc......all staged, and not very well I might add. Think about it people, this guy is so full of himself that he bought and paid for every major television station. The freaking world came to a halt, cuz Tiger Woods had something to say, give me a break. He hasn't changed at all, he obviously thinks we all need him or want to hear from him. I for one didn't watch it, only small clips on the nightly news later that evening. But I heard from enough people who did watch it, and no one is buying his crap. He could have saved his money, and just stayed home, no one cares! I hope Elin takes him for whatever she can. This man is the biggest jerk. And I'm not buying the whole, "I have a sexual addiction" thing either. Just another guy who thinks the world owes him something because he can hit a little ball into a hole. And there are just enough people out there, men and women alike, that idolize people like him, who help to create these monsters! So sad!
