Vote: What Did You Think of Tiger Woods' Press Conference?

Tiger Woods held a press conference today to apologize to his wife and fans for the many extramarital affairs that forced him into treatment for sex addiction and caused many sponsors to drop him.

"Simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in," he said. "I was unfaithful, I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable and I am the only person to blame."

Tiger directed much of his statement to his wife, Elin Nordegren, and his children. "I owe it to my family to become a better person."

Tiger isn't over-sexed; he's under-charactered.

Frankly, I think what Michael Vick did to dogs was worse than what Tiger did, but men (especially) found no problem giving that murderer a second chance in the NFL, so why not this guy? HIs apology was MUCH more sincere, and he didn't torture or kill anything! This is something that has to be worked out with his family, and other than his golf game, is nobody's business but theirs.

I really hope that Elin has an opportunity to set an example for women who deal with this. Leave their weak asses and let them have sex with whoever they please.

WHO CARES WHAT TIGER DOES!!!!!! Why do we all think that we are owed an apology? we arent married to him, we are not sponsoring him and we are not responsible for what he does. i am not even a fan. I believe we as humans have far much more pressing and more concerning issues than what tiger says or doesnt. please people get a life, i mean your own!!! if elin forgives and puts her broken family back together more power to you girl!!! it will be a long road but at the end there will be peace hopefully, and if not at least they tried and then they can move on.!!!!! God help you tiger, elin and kids!!!

You still have no right to judge him. I assume that even though you've never cheated on your wife you'venever done anything foolish. I'd also like to point out to those people with their holier than thou attitudes that if given the money, fame and opportunity the majority of you probably would cheat. I bet the only thing that's stopping you is the fact that divorece is so expensive. lol

What law did he break ?? How did his conduct affect your life?? You can stand on your soap box, and criticize Tiger, but do not forget..........Many of our own presidents, senators, other sports figures, priests, and neighbors areor have been doing the same thing, Yet we decide to publicly try, convict, and hang Tiger Woods. If the media would have not been on such a shark feeding frenzy, this would not be the 3 ring circus it is today. Get with it folks, let us stop hiding behind our Rose colored Glasses, our bibles, and our beliefs. Yes Tiger must pay for his sins, but as I stated in previous post, the only ones owed are his family.

Bottom line. Tiger doesn't owe an apology to anyone. The press was the one that brought this very personal issue to the light of the public and even with the apology they continue to play the "infamous tape". Enough already. Character isn’t something you were born with and can’t change, like your fingerprints. It’s something you weren’t born with and must take responsibility for forming and he's doing that. Leave the man alone.
