Billy Corgan Explains Relationship With Jessica Simpson

Back in January, Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan were photographed making sweet music together in the studio. Relationship rumors exploded once Simpson tweeted, "I am blessed," she told her Twitter followers. "Going over a song w@billy and the boxer." But now Corgan is opening up about their relationship ... working relationship that is.

"She asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show [VH1's 'The Price of Beauty']," the Smashing Pumpkins frontman, 42, tells the Chicago Tribune. "[The show] has an interesting concept. She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It's interesting."

He says that he ended up writing part of the theme song, which he describes as having "a little bit of an alternative rock edge, but it's still very pop-y."

While he doesn't adress any romance between the two, back in January PEOPLE reported that Simpson and the Smashing Pumpkin had been dating for four months. Neither have confirmed such reports. At the time, Simpson said it's "fun to be lost in laughter."

Simpson linked to two photos of her and Corgan, and one shows the singer looking intently at the guitarist as he performs. "He braids my prayers," she commented.

The tabloids would insist Corgan and Simpson are a couple if they bumped into each other on the subway and apologized to each other.

When ever I hear a story about any star, I take at least 50% a way, because it is mostly lies. Because I do not believe those writers are telling the truth, they just want to sell magazines.

Having met him at his fathers house, who was twice the musician that he was, I'll tell you he's a selfcentered wet noodle and shakes your hand like like he was a prince. I had to take care of his old man while he was dieing from drug addiction and hep-c while little billy was running around making millions.His father taught him everthing he knows about music and was a great bluesman. I hope his oldman is still alive, he had to move back to chicago after billy stopped paying his rent in Florida.

She is a pretty girl and petite. Except for the bra size. If she had a breast reduction she would look better in her clothes. I hope she doesn't feel like Dolly Parton, that her breasts are part of her appeal and thus had implants after she lost all that weight. Baloney! She likes them huge for the attention they give her. I hope Jessica doesn't feel that way about herself.
