'Heroes' Star Adrian Pasdar Charged With DUI

'Heroes' actor Adrian Pasdar has officially been charged with DUI following his arrest last month in L.A., TMZ reports.

The actor was pulled over on January 27 after cops clocked him going 90 MPH on the 405 Freeway. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI after he refused to take a breathalyzer and held him on $15,000 bail.

Pasdar is due back in court on February 24 and faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Pasdar plays Senator Nathan Petrelli on 'Heroes' and has been married to Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines for nine years.

Back in January, police say Pasdar was swerving all over the freeway and "failing to maintain his lane." When police finally pulled him over, sources told TMZ that the cops detected the odor of alcohol and gave the 44-year-old actor a field sobriety test.

read on IDMB...he is a very self detructive peson, this is not unusual for him to risk his own life and that of others.

Of course, he should get what other people get, when they drive drunk. He is human and not god.

If I was married to her-I would drink too. And that person who said alcohol has no odor-do you think they meant that his breath smelled of alcohol?? I work in an ER and people stink when they drink! That smell stays with you for awhile!

Deacon do you not have a sense of smell. MOST alcoholic drinks have have an odor. Second when you refuse to take a breathalizer it can be used against you because when get your license you are subject to testing if needed.

Refusal does not automatically make you innocent, it can hurt, as a refusal will be used in court. He did not win anything. It's people like you that think its okay to cheat and lie your way out of life threatening situations (others, not your life of course)that is the cause of senseless deaths.

Refusing to blow is the smartest thing to do if you think you're going to fail the breathalyzer. In any case, I think he should be referred to as the "former star of Heroes", since his character is dead and he had about 10 minutes of total airtime this season.
