Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight Reunite in Style

Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight have been famously estranged for years, but photographers caught Voight enjoying a sunny day in Venice, Italy, this weekend with his daughter, Brad Pitt and a few of the grandkids. RadarOnline reports that Jolie and Voight have been working on a reconciliation for months, but the family outing marks their first recent public appearance.

According to MSNBC, a source close to the couple says that Pitt is behind the reunion. "Since [Pitt and Jolie] have been together, Brad has been encouraging Angie to smooth things over with her dad," the source said. "And when it comes to the kids, Brad wants them to know their grandfather the way the kids know his parents."

Jolie and her father parted ways in 2001 when Voight made a television appearance stating that his daughter needed help for "her serious mental problems."

In 2002, Jolie stated, "My father and I don't speak. I don't hold any anger toward him. I don't believe that somebody's family becomes their blood. Because my son's adopted, and families are earned."

Jolie and her family are in Venice while she prepares to film 'The Tourist' with Johnny Depp.

Yeah Brad is trying to be the good one here. Won't be long before he figures out that Voight is a CREEP and a LOSER who only cares about himself. Then what are you gonna do Brad? How are you going to make Angie look then, when she kicks his ass to the curb once more. You should have just let things be, this man is BAD NEWS. I dont care whos blood runs in his veins.

HAHA! ! VOIGHT is a good man. A lot of the disagreement was that Angie decided to sleep with a married man and ruin his marriage. Them she lives with him. Voight told her to get some morals and she did not like it.

You have a point there Lisa. The only pic is of Brad and Angie's dad. Is this just another ploy by the two to make us view them more positively? I've never cared much for Angelina. She may be beautiful but she's not much of an actor and she is a self-proclaimed husband-stealer and obviously more than a little off her rocker. She seduced another woman's husband and, while cheating on him, is doing everything (no matter how crazy) she can to keep him from leaving her including fillng the house with children that she's not grown up enough to care for. I always liked Brad in the past. He's not only very handsome but a great actor and, although he cheated on one wife, he seems to be trying hard to make the best of what he got himself into. However, he looks like a dirty old mountain man who cares very little of the public's perception of him. Why would anyone with the means to take good care of himself go around looking like a homeless bum?

I hope that the two of them reunite and make the best of it. You are not garenteed a single second on this earth and it would be a shame to loose a parent or daughter or son without the chance to make amends. Good for Brad, that is a #1 son in law in my book.

shiloh happens to be a tom boy and seems to want to dress that way. she also wants to be called boy names they say. i dont think they force fashion on the kids i think they let them think for themselves. it said in one story that after she saw a movie she started this way of dressing.
