Charlie Sheen Refusing to Go to Rehab, According to Source

Although he allegedly had alcohol in his system on Christmas Day when he attacked his wife, Charlie Sheen reportedly believes he doesn't need rehab, sources say of the troubled actor.

"He is not going to rehab," his rep says.

"He says he doesn't have to go. He drank. But he says he didn't drink that much," a friend of the 'Two and a Half Men' star tells RadarOnline.com.

Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, is currently being treated for addiction to crack and alcohol.

The friend says that Sheen had a "sober coach" with him over Christmas to make sure he didn't drink, but he consumed anyway.

"It's no accident that he had a sober coach with him. He had a sober coach with him because he started drinking again and his friends and other people close to him are extremely worried."

Sheen has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault after the Christmas Day incident.

Sofie Ann maybe the one who pulled the knife! Then hey even if that one had a coach to stop me from drinking yet I drank! Or hang on instead of being worried that maybe my wife is sick and needs some help, I know it is all about me & my needs instead of those of my twins! Remember for years now we have been told how great of a Father he is and that his current wife was the worlds worst mother! Your right after all his track record is perfect! My mistake! Lordy!

Can't help it but when I watch his show I don't like it as much when I realize that he is just playing himself in real life and that he really is just an addicted jerk. I think the other actors might be cranked about this too as its clearly going to cost them millions in future contracts. Bet this show does not last into next year.

Charlie Sheen is just Charlie Sheen. I love him as an actor, and his show is too funny. I don't think it will end soon.
And if the women were honest, they love him and his character.
The guy just needs to quit getting married. He is not the marriage type!

It's standard precedure of the court system to put people in a AAA or rehab setting if they are found guilty of dui or demestic violence. Even though in some cases the people that are found guilty aren't really hibital offenders . The system sometimes even puts people in anger management classes which is good for some people bad for others. Just because you go to these so called quick fix places for treatemeny doesn't guarantee the person eill be rehabilitated, it just sweetens the deal the defendant and prosecutor strike in close chambers. I see people who go to these rehab trips and alot of them backslide miserably, even on that Dr. Drew show. Unless the court specifically says you have to go to rehab a person doesn't have to go unlwess he or she is found guilty of a crime. Remember the state has to prove everything they claim is wrong with the person,not the other way around. ;)
