Jay Leno Books Sarah Palin, 'Jersey Shore' Cast for 'Tonight Show' Comeback

When Jay Leno returns to the 'Tonight Show' on March 1, will anybody be watching? Based on his guest list for the month, all signs point to "you betcha."

According to his official site, Leno has booked a slew of famous faces for his much-anticipated and highly-debated comeback, beginning with Jamie Foxx and Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn.

The following night, Leno will play host to former Vice Presidential candidate-turned-Fox News correspondent Sarah Palin (March 2). And if that wasn't enough, Leno will then interview the cast of MTV's wildly popular reality show 'Jersey Shore,' on March 3. (We wonder: How soon before Leno books disgraced golfer Tiger Woods?)

Additional guests for the month include Matthew McConaughey (March 4), Simon Cowell (March 8), Kristen Stewart (March 10) and Judd Apatow (Mar. 12).

Meanwhile, according to Gawker, 'American Idol' alum Adam Lambert says that he will also appear on the March 2 show, which coincidentally was not mentioned on Leno's Web site.

Guest list aside, Leno's debut is already poised to be a ratings spectacle, given all the drama that occurred earlier this year between NBC, Leno and ousted 'Tonight Show' host Conan O'Brien. And when you consider that 18.4 million watched the debut of 'The Jay Leno Show' last September, Leno is that much more likely to take the reigns back from David Letterman, whose ratings have flourished since Leno left the 'Tonight Show' in May 2009.

Whether or not he will retain his audience, however, remains to be seen.

People, People, People!! stop saying The Jay Leno Show has been cancelled!! It has not been cancelled its just been a name and time change!! It was the "THE TONIGHT SHOW" it changed to "THE JAY LENO SHOW"--now its going back to "THE TONIGHT SHOW"!! If I were Jay I would sue you people for "mis-informing" the public!! stop playing "word games"!!

I like Jay , but Sarah Palin is a total idiot, people will tune in just to laugh at her. Maybe she can tell us all how she can see russia from her backyard, thanks for the warning, if I have to listen to her again I think my head will explode. after the explosion I too will be able to see russia from my backyard!

YUCK! Sarah Palin??? Why would anyone tune into watch that screwball? Sorry Jay...Maybe I'll tune into your monologue, but this list of guests leave me cold. I'll switch to my late-night DVR's of Craig Ferguson's extremely funny show...His monologues are sooo funny, and even when he interviews, he is hysterical.

Jay Leno is funny and this mess is not his doing. He was told he was leaving. I have no clue why anyone thought Conan was funny-he might be nice but not funny.

I like Jay Leno, but if his guests are gonna be Sarah Palin (a total moron), and the people from Jersey Shore (the only people who are BIGGER morons than Sarah Palin), then I simply can NOT watch the show.

I like Jay and I am glad that he is back on The Tonight Show. However, I am not a fan of the Jersey Shore cast. Why is it they are being shoved down our throats? They were forced on us on Jay's 10 o'clock show, they are on The View on Tuesday, they are even going to be on game shows. Nothing like showing how stupid people can be. Please, let them go back to obscurity!!

My best to Jay!! I cannot say how excited I am to hear Jay's announcer, Wally Wingert, introduce The Tonight Show with Jay Leno!!

Now here is what I was supposed to say ....

I wish all posters would give their choice of political parties they consistently vote for,then, maybe I wouldn't be so cynical about the future of this great country of ours ?

If all the evil-spouters ,then ,do turn out to NOT 80/90% democrats ,I will feel a great measure of relief about our fellow USA citizens !

And my political choice is...the most solid candidate for the office ...screw all the parties,we know when you have an individual group of three or more human beings,"corruption" soon follows !

I like a lot of guests that Jay Lenohead will be having on, but there's no way I'll be watching his show. I like Sarah Palin, but will definitely not tune in. I hope his show goes down the tubes.

When those of you that watch the return of the tarnished failure.take a close look at his audience .It is known it is mostly NBC staffers. NBC sent the tickets to Conan viewrs and they have retuned them with "Nice" letters attached.So all those cheering are NBC. And Conan wasn't Ousted He RESIGNED. NBC Screwed-up.History is about to repeat itself : only this time NBC will take the bullet right in the head. They didn't learn. I give Jay a whole 3 months before he's history. The Tonight show Franchise is gone. So if you're going to report the facts get them straight Conan O'Brien WASN"T ousted. He left do to BREACH of CONTRACT by NBC. Get it straight Buddy Boy.

I used to watch Jay once and a while. Now, with all the crap behind Conan being pushed out and Jay pushing his way back in, I will never, ever watch his show again. He is pathetic and disgusting. I hope his show fails in every way.
