'Dancing With the Stars' will be one star short this season when professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer leaves the show. On Friday, Schwimmer confirmed via Twitter that she will not be returning to the show for another season.In a tweet to her fans, she wrote, "Hey twitterbugs! I will not be doing DWTS this season. But be sure to tune in! <3." Soon after her initial tweet about leaving the show, Schwimmer wrote, "I'm off to bed! I'm sad I will not be on this season of #dwts too yall! Biglove<3".
Schwimmer, a former 'So You Think You Can Dance' contestant, has been a member of the DWTS cast since 2008.

I have been watching the show since the very beginning and I thought Lacey was a great addition to the show! She gave it a lot of punch! I am very sorry to see her go! I will definitely still continue to watch the show!

It does NOT make me idiotic to speak my mind, and as for being mean, the truth is sometimes very painful. I don't watch TV to see fat people. I can see that driving down the road. If you are going to make your living in a business where youth (plastic surgery and injections) and beauty (anorexia and fake boobs)are everything, then a criticism that she is fat, choreographs weird dances and has ugly costumes is appropriate.

You say you're not an idiot but yet your words suggest you're just plain ignorant...encouraging someone to becaome "fake beautiful" because the industry thrives on it. That kind of thinking helps no one, and I'm terribly sorry you have to be inconvenienced by having to see people who look less than perfect on your TV. I'd love to know how perfect you think you look, and what business is it of yours to tell others how you think they should look...unless of course you're willing to fork out the money for the means to get them there! Until then, look in your own mirror, and try to be a little (or perhaps a whole lot)less self-centered!

I've been a fan of Lacey's since she was on SYTYCD. I will miss her on DWTS. She always added something "extra" to her choreography.

Good lord if she is fat pleeeze let me be fat like her-I would bet she is a size 2. As for the costumes they have costume designers that mnake those-the dancers don't. I liked her choreography is was edgy and cool. So sorry Anny you don't watch tv to see fat people-it must be hard to be so perfect like you-now go eat your rice cake and get on the treadmill.And while you're at it take a nap-maybe you'll wake up a nice person.And by the way I'm not fat-a size 6-8-so don't even go there.

AMEN! I'd love to be "fat" like her. And just because someone makes her living in an industry that values looks above all else doesn't mean any girl should starve herself to fit the mold. That mold is narrowly defined by a small segment of society. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone who demands everyone else buy into it needs to quit being so narcissistic.
Lacey was my favorite and seemed so down to earth. I will really miss her on the show. Best wishes Lacey.

Usually when pople find fault with others it represents a small insecure issues with themselves. What's wrong with fat? I hope your personality is not contagious!
I have watched DWTS since it's first year, and there are many dancers that are there for one year and then off the next and then back again. Unless we want a lot more stars on the show, then the pros will be paired down from year to year. I think both Jonathan and Lacey will be back.
