Lacey Schwimmer Leaves 'Dancing With The Stars'

'Dancing With the Stars' will be one star short this season when professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer leaves the show. On Friday, Schwimmer confirmed via Twitter that she will not be returning to the show for another season.

In a tweet to her fans, she wrote, "Hey twitterbugs! I will not be doing DWTS this season. But be sure to tune in! <3." Soon after her initial tweet about leaving the show, Schwimmer wrote, "I'm off to bed! I'm sad I will not be on this season of #dwts too yall! Biglove<3".

Schwimmer, a former 'So You Think You Can Dance' contestant, has been a member of the DWTS cast since 2008.

She has served as a dance partner to Lance Bass, Steve-O and Mark Dacascos. Schwimmer's highest finish was with Bass, who finished in third place during season 7.

There's no word on whether she's bowing out on her own accord or leaving on other conditions. Of course, she isn't the only dancing bowing out of the show. Jonathan Roberts has also confirmed via Twitter that he is leaving. "I will not be doing DWTS this season, will miss everyone but I'm sure you will see me on some tues shows until next season," he wrote.

I might point out that Lacey doesn't say that she's leaving the show, just that she won't be on this season. The pros switch out just to take a break, to focus on their careers, or to rest up after injuries.

To the person who is calling Lacey fat- Im going to guess you are one of 2 things. 1: you are either a size 0 and anything above a size 2 is fat, or 2: you a morbidly obese and calling others fat makes you feel better about yourself. Either way theres jealousy behind your criticisms. She was a good dancer and everyone knows it, so quit hating on her!

lacey's dance with her brother a few seasons ago was possibly one of the best on DWTS. she was maybe to young, fun and original...it was hard for poor Len.
