Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish Call It Quits

Actor Ryan Phillippe and his girlfriend of four years, Abbie Cornish, have split, according to PEOPLE. Phillippe reportedly began dating 'Stop-Loss' co-star Cornish while still married to Reese Witherspoon. Their recent split comes after months of infidelity rumors. "Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home," her spokesperson confirmed.

Phillippe has two children with ex-wife Witherspoon. Sources say the actor spent Sunday with the kids (Ava, 10, and 5-year-old Deacon) while Cornish moved her belongings out of the house shared by the couple.

When asked if Phillippe had cheated on Cornish, her rep replied, "No comment." The actress has been shooting the film 'Sucker Punch' in Vancouver for the last seven months.

Phillippe will appear next as Lt. Dixon Piper in 'SNL' skit-turned-movie 'MacGruber,' in April.

I think that the Tiger woods saga is a waste of air time. Frankly it is none of our business and I think that he did not need to do a 15-20 minute apology to the nation. He should have kept his private life private.

Hey Kimi, Tiger was TRYING to keep his private life private by NOT speaking to the press. But, he was hammered by tabloid rumors, his family was followed and harrassed, and every woman he ever glanced at came crawling out of the woodwork for her 15 mins of fame. Everyone wanted to hear from him, everyone wanted a public apology. So, he gave in and made a statement. Let's not damn him for taking the time to give everyone what they asked for in hopes that he finally be left alone.

He doesn't need to apologize to everyone it's none of our business.

It looks like no matter what beautiful woman he is with he is not satisfied. I don't know but maybe he should reasses his sexual preference. (is this politically correct enough or will I have to stand in contrition like Tiger?)

I don't believe "Once a cheater, always a cheater." Depends on the reason for cheating. I'm not saying it's acceptable at all. Just saying there are some that do change and never cheat again.
However, what is impossible to change, at least it would be more, is to go back to trusting that person. That would change. I know, without a doubt, I would never trust someone who cheated on me ever again....even if the lack of trust was deep inside of me. It would always be there.

I agree with Deela. I was horrified at my own son who cheated on his long time girlfriend....they were not babies, either. They were well into their twenties. They eventually worked it out and have been married and happy for 8 years. I know him. He won't do it again. I am glad my beautiful daughter-in-law gave him the opportunity to make it right. Not all stories are alike.

i believe his father was also a cheater and a great influence on him. he worshipped his father. "if it was ok for dad, it was ok for him." he probably saw how his mother allowed his dad to get away with it and expected the same from his wife. however, his dad was not famous like him. therefore there were a lot of other issues. it appears that he only uses caucasian women for his deep rooted lusts. i doubt very seriously if he ever loved any of them. he probably only married one of them is because of the media. well it's a new day and things have, "Changed" you d***s**t! there's nothing wrong with being with someone outside of your race, but you should do it for true reasons, not for the publicity.
