'The Bachelor' Body Language: Was Rozyln Telling the Truth?

Actions speak louder than words, Rozlyn! Disgraced 'Bachelor' contestant Rozlyn Papa, who was booted from the show mid-season for having an inappropriate relationship with a producer, still has something to hide, according to our body language experts. When host Chris Harrison confronted her on the 'Bachelor: Women Tell All' special on Monday night, Roz was not being entirely truthful.

Our experts say declaratory statements often indicate deception, so Rozlyn probably wasn't telling the whole truth when she declared, "On my child's life, that never happened!"

The tone of her voice was also a giveaway that the blonde beauty wasn't being entirely honest.

"When denying the accusations, the pitch of her voice was considerably higher, this is indicative of stress," explains body language expert Vincent Harris. "When we are being deceptive or lying, we become more stressed."

Her stance also indicated fear. "She moved her hands to interlock around her crossed legs at the front of her shin in a log cabin guard. This low log cabin shows she is very fearful. She is still protecting herself. Even though her back is up and she is nodding her head, her lower body is showing she is scared of what Chris will say next," explains body language expert Patti Wood.

The other bachelorettes expressed their mortification at Rozlyn's actions through self-satisfied smirks while they watched her squirm in the hot seat. The camera continually panned to Ashley, who wasn't delighting as much as everyone else. Ashley was pissed!

"We see Ashley lips tightly pressed downward and her angry eyes. Ashley is dying to yell something," Wood explains.

As Harrison repeatedly asked Rozlyn whether anything inappropriate occurred in the house, her brow furrowed, another sign of anxiety and stress.

When Ella started to get judgey about Rozlyn's actions, if you watch closely you can see Rozlyn's top lip start to curl.

"This is a sign of her underlying anger; anger that she is working to suppress, but that is leaking out anyway. These small 'leaks' are all but impossible to conceal, hide or prevent, and give us a sneak peek at what emotion she is really feeling," Harris says.

But she isn't just lying about her relationship with the producer. Rozlyn seems to be lying about everything. At one point, she tells the other ladies that she never said anything bad about them after she left the show. Probably not true.

"She shoulder shrugs when she says she never said anything but nice things about the other women," says Janine Driver, author of 'YOU SAY MORE THAN YOU THINK: A 7-Day Plan For Using the New Body Language to Get What You Want!' "Which means it's deception. A shoulder shrug cancels out the verbal message so we know she has talked negatively about these women in the past."

And what's Chris Harrison trying to hide? When Roz bit back at Chris, claiming he hit on her producer friend's wife in New Zealand, Chris got a little cagey.

"Chris broke eye contact, looked down and appeared to struggle with making direct eye contact with Rozlyn again. Chris can clearly be seen swallowing -- a clear sign of anxiety and nervousness when read in context. My hunch is that there is probably more to the New Zealand story than Harrison would like to discuss," Harris explains.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when we appear on reality television.

Rozlyn is a joke, but she is also very skilled as an attacker. WOW,she attacks so easily, naturally, & very quickly. Chris isn't usually speechless, and I am sure that there is something to what Rozlyn said about New Zealand, but remember, she was the one on the defense. She obviously had that accusation in her pocket to use...and boy, did she ever!

I agree - I think Roslyn is a naracisstic personality! And a bad lier too! So funny how she throws something out there at Chris hoping to take the heat off herself. Didn't like her from day 1 - she had a hidden agenda & that was to get some fame - why else did she go to the photo shoot without underwear on & raise her leg. I feel very sorry for her child (if she really does have a Son) I really wonder!!!

Good call mountain! You definitely have her pegged! She's definitely shrewed & sassy.....Ya think she's looking to qualify for another reality show or just trying to get as many paid interviews as she can??????? Maybe HEF will hire her for "THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR" heheheheheheh

'Body Language?' I guess we can do away with courts and a jury. Just get the 'expert' to tell whether the person is lying or not. *sigh*

I agree. She had her dirty cards ready. Too bad she felt so threatend that she had to use them on Chris.
Also, I loved the way Chris backed down and didn't respond to her asault!! I am guessing that was the smart thing for him to do.

Well I wouldn't kick Rozyln out of bed, thats for sure. I guess we will never know (like any reality show) on whats real, whats not, or whats scripted. I DO agree with her "its NOT really a way to find love" Especially when they are sent home because they didn't get to know the person because of not getting a "solo" date because they never won A CHALLENGE??? That part of it is ALWAYS stupid. Rozyln held her own especially how coached and prepared Chris was, you could see him reading his que cards. Anyways to win an arguement, u always put the other person on the "defence" and/or put everyone against that one person. Rozyln had both things against her and did well. Maybe it was all planned by her from the star to get all the attention and recognition she's getting. But on a personal level. I HOPE SHE IS AS pretty on the inside as on the outside. Or I would like to believe so, anyways.

I agree, Roz was on the defense. Now, how did she get information about Chris hitting on the producers wife if she wasn't with the producer. That was used as her weapon against Chris, she wasn't there, that producer could have told her anything. What she did was incrimidated herself! Those girls had no reason to lie about her, they just stated what happened and what they saw.

Why not just get a ouija board or magic 8-ball?

There is a reason that body language experts, polygraphs and voice stress analyzers are not admissible in court -- B/C THEY ARE UNRELIABLE!!! Remember, Richard Jewell was fingered as the Olympic bomber b/c he failed the FBI polygraph and then Eric Rudolf, the abortion bomber was fingered for it, caught, confessed and NBC had to pay Jewell millions of dollars.

I agree that anyone would be guarded/defensive & fidgety in front of a lynch mob on national tv - but she agreed to be there & I also agree getting body language experts in lieu of actual truth from the participants is lame... but... really - everyone else is lying & she's the ONLY one being truthful??... I don't think so!

Hasn't anyone notice that, through all of this, the "producer" that Rozlyn had an "inappropriate relationship" with hasn't been interviewed or even seen? I would love to hear his side of this entire situation! What gives???

Roz and the producer definitely had some sort of a physical
relationship. The girls had no reason to lie after the fact.

I agree. It's no different than the situation in the bible with the woman who was caught in the act of adultry. They want to string her up(or stone her as the tradition was)but where in the world was the man? Where was the 'participant' in the whole sordid mess? The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I agree let's hear from the producer. Ryan Seacrest did an interview with Roz & told her the producer said he had sex with her in the mansion! She was amazed; she kept saying his name & saying he said that? Her mouth dropped to her chin. Let's hear from him!!

Producer's wife (or soon to be ex-wife)filed on him just about a day before this story broke. I think he has been silenced and can't say "S**T" about it.
Better not say anything because - as he digs himself a divorce grave... he would only be trading his small shovel for excavanting machinery.

Chris said that the producer admitted to having an afair with Rozlyn and that is why Chris had to fire him. When Chris told Jake about what happened he said that when the producer was asked if there was some thing going on with Rozlyn he said yes. So how can Rozlyn sit there and say there isn't. Also if there isn't anything going on why would they still be seeing each other? It isn't like they live in the same state he or she has to go out of their way to see each other and if there isn't anything going on I don't think that the producer would go out of his way to see her after she is the one that got him fired if he wasn't getting some thing out of it..

As of now, it's been reported from many news sources that the producer involved DID admit the "inappropriate relationship" publicly and Rozlyn is continuing to deny it. It really makes her look ridiculous. He is the one who is (or was) married, so why would he admit it, lose his job, and possibly lose his wife if it was not true? And she isn't a good liar. She had prepared that accusation about Chris and was dying to say it! What a tramp.

I agree....where's this mysterious producer. If he DOES exist, why let Rozelyn keep answering to these charges alone. Also, did anyone catch that on top of lying, this "ex" bachelorette, is also guilty of having an inappropriate relationship with a MARRIED producer???? Everyone's so ready to throw Chris under the bus for allegedly hitting on this man's wife, but where was his concern for his wife when he was visiting another woman in her home town with his father??? The whole thing smells of disgust if you ask me.
