Charlie Sheen Checks Himself Into Rehab

Charlie Sheen has entered a treatment facility, PEOPLE reports, following speculation he was drinking again.

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series 'Two and a Half Men,'" Sheen's representative said in a statement.

Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, is also in rehab for crack and alcohol addiction. She recently switched centers due to privacy issues.

The actor has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault after he allegedly attacked Mueller on Christmas Day. He was reported to be drunk at the time.

There are alot of people that are careing and thoughtfull of others on this blog but alas there are a few horses ass's out there that don't get it. They don't love or care for anyone else but themselves and their immediate families only. Sure Charlie is messed up with his addition of alcohol. Instead of putting him down and his wife lets pray that both of these people get the proper rehab they need and just maybe a spiritual change will occur to waken up the real people inside . It takes a great kind person to really forgive another person for their errors of their ways. I only hope seriously that we all help each other when problems arise so we can pick our selves up and make a new life. God bless you all !

Poor little babies.. Both parents in rehab . What a shame. And Charlie has three other children also . One with a girlfriend in 1984 and two with Denise Richards . Five children and he still can't straighten himself up ..Really sad Charlie .

Why is Sheen's show the highest rated show on TV and he is the highest paid actor on TV. Instead of just posting on these sites turn off the damm show. They won't keep it on if nobody's watching it. Maria

I knew the moment I heard of the assault this "piece of crap, drunken, womanizing, bully" would never see jail time. Now the bring the charge (or make up new new name) of feleny meancing vs assault with a deadly weapon? doesn't it just piss you off that there are two sets of laws in this country?

Families are teetering on the edge of extinction; the economy has seniors making decisions about food vs. medicine and some schools are sending home bags of 'weekend' food for children who would otherwise go hungry. American GI's are fodder for the war machine that rolls on around the world. And yet, these two losers are given space on the inernet? What possible difference could their choices make in your life and mine? Surely there is no one who believes a few days in a posh facility will redirect their future. They will rest up and go right back to the same trough they have been eating at for years ~ and drinking he same swill.

after trying dozens of others and this one worked for him.

This is ridiculous! They've halted production, now. How many warnings & chances does he need? Did the studio give any thought to what halting production does for the behind-the-scenes people who get nowhere near the astronomical wages the actors get? These people have bills to pay & families to feed & lives to live, too. It's not all about the actors!!
He has a family. It's time for him to grow up! Children need parents who put their (children's) needs ahead of their (parents') desires. The courts need to do that, too. Perhaps it's time to look to someone else to raise them.
