Gary Busey, Steffanie Sampson Welcome Baby Boy

Gary Busey and girlfriend Steffanie Sampson welcomed a baby boy this morning, Entertainment Tonight is exclusively reporting.

Luke Samson Busey was delivered at 6:40AM and weighed six pounds, seven ounces. The couple announced Sampson's pregnancy early last December.

In a statement, Busey and Sampson said that the delivery "feels like a dream. We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke's arrival."

Now 65, this marks Busey's first child with 40-year-old Sampson. Busey also fathered a son, Jake, in 1971 with then-wife Judy Helkenberg. Jake was there to congratulate the couple this morning, according to the report.

As for whether Luke will follow the tradition of like father, like son -- well, we're not sure we want to know.

Gary Busey played the cutest bad guy ever in his movies, and now he looks happy and psyched to be a new dad. He can afford to give a baby a good life, as well as love and attention. Hooray for love at any age.

As a child of older parents I have to say that's a big thumbs down on the fairness to a child. My father was 52 when I was born, the generation gap proved to be impossible to cross. I was always teased about my dad being my grandpa and things of that nature as well, it really messes with your sense of self and a horrible thing to do to a child. Not to mention the fact that I am only 33 and have lost both my parents already. I'm way to young to not have my parents!

Oh please... I'll bet you've spent your whole life blaming your parents for everything that goes wrong.
I am also the product of older parents and I loved it! They had already achieved success in their work, so we had money and were able to travel and do things kids with younger parents couldn't do. I learned alot from them and their friends and many times opted to hang around with them rather than people my own age.
I look around and see people in their 60's trying to physically, financially and emotionally care for their aging parents as they themselves enter their senior years and thank my lucky stars that when my parents got old and needed care I wasn't too old to be able to take care of them.
Maye you should try looking at the cup as half full rather than half empty?

He's 65, does he think he's going to be around to raise a child for the next 20 years? I think it's very selfish for someone his age to have a child!

I also think it's a little creepy that his wife is young enough to be his daughter.

My parents died when I was only 8 yrs old. 33 is not too young to
have lost your parents. Grow up!. Kids
get picked on for loads of reasons!. Your father was 52. And the kids called your Dad grandpa?. Let it go. Seek therapy if needed. I got picked on because Inwas adopted after my patents passed away. Gary Busey is a self indulgent drug addict. That's what makes him an unfit parent.

"wacko" maybe thed kid will get luckey and daddy will die! I really wanted to say that I am 78 and I still miss my dad anmom. They died in their early 60's and divorced in their 30's. IT may have been a blessing.ha

I was 39 when I lost my mother who because she was young when she had me, was only 56 yoa; I still have my father in his early 70's and in good health. To those who think 33 is not too young to lose both parents, I disagree. There's never a good time but so many of my friends still have their parents and I am now 47.

Oh, great. Another unmarried woman having a baby. And Gary Busey, a 65 year old alcoholic, is the new Dad. What a wonderful future this child has. I am not one bit happy for the "new parents." This is one of the saddest cases of illegitimacy I've seen in a while.
