Ric Flair's Wife Arrested for Domestic Violence

Well we didn't see this one coming: The wife of professional wrestling legend Ric Flair has been arrested for domestic violence, TV Guide is reporting, claiming Flair suffered minor injuries at the hands of Jacqueline Bains Beems after the two had "an unfortunate disagreement." While we'd certainly never make light of a domestic violence situation, we will note that Flair's catch phrase was "to be the man, you've got to beat the man." Apparently, it seems Bains Beems took that a bit too literally.

According to Flair's agent, Melinda Morris Zanoni, "Ric and his wife had an unfortunate disagreement [Sunday], which led to his wife being arrested and charged with assault."

Flair and Bains Beems married in November, marking the fourth marriage for the white-locked entertainer.

Morris Zanoni went on to say that "Ric has done nothing wrong,' and that the wrestling pro "finds this incident unsettling and is committed to correcting any issues in his personal life."

But fear not, wrestling fans! Ric's agent says that despite the incident, "the important thing to remember here is that we have some very exciting professional announcements in the near future." Woooo!

Hats off to Ric for not hitting her back. I am glad he
controlled himself, instead of sitting behind bars she is.
She needs to control herself and keep her hands to herself.

What is the power that gives a 135 pound woman the audacity to hit a 220 pound man and expect no retaliation, when no 135 pound man would dare to do the same? Just because she is a woman we are supposed to stand there and take it? I thought women wanted to be treated as equals. The girls at my son's school have a game were they walk around kicking the boys in the privets and the school does nothing. Boys are told from a young age that it is never OK to hit a girl no matter what and that is fine. The problem is that girls are not told that it is never OK to hit a boy. We should treat woman as equals not as some poor pathetic less than human creature who needs special treatment.

I would bet that she provoked an argument and that she is a gold digger. They haven't been married very long but long enough for her to have legal grounds for allamony. I bet she wished he hit her but he did the smart thing and refraned and saved hisself a law suit. Way to go Rick, you have brains and brawn.
