Dani, you have it wrong. A LADY never hits. And once she does she CEASES to be a lady and that guy who was just assaulted has the right to knock her out. No one is putting their hands on me, including a female. What woman agrees their son, father, nephew, grandson deserves to be assaulted and just sit there and take it? Men, call the police and have them arrested for felony assault. Make sure they have a record. This is where you have it wrong. A woman, lady, whatever hits a man. He hits her back, her story changes that he went after her and she hit him in self defense. HE goes to jail, not her.

As a female I have to say bologna. Men and women BOTH should not put their hands on one another. If I put myself in the place of a man, I should be treated like one. Dani, you are correct...i have been arrested twice for do/assault..never laid a hand on her..she starts a fight, I get mad she calls cops and tells her HER side...I go to jail. That simple. The only way to win is to get out of the relationship.

Don't forget that conflict in a relationship (regardless of gender) is a kind of dance, a flow of give and take that can actually result in a stronger bond if only you are willing to talk out the issues between you, not act them out. If your women are angry to the point of doing you bodily harm, take a look at yourselves. What are you doing to contribute to her rage or discontent? I would ask the same of women who feel the need to behave in aggressive ways toward their men. If nothing else, think of the consequences before you raise your fists. Someone could be badly hurt, or worse. Think of the the consequences. Families could be torn apart. Children could be without parents. Think of the consequences. Always think before you act. If you are feeling unsafe, seek protection. Leave the situation. Get professional help. It's not about ego or being the master or mistress of your domain. If things are out of control admit it and do something about it before something even worse happens.
