Charlie Sheen Receives Treatment For Cocaine And Alcohol Addiction

Despite a statement made yesterday that Charlie Sheen was entering a rehab facility as a "preventative measure," RadarOnline.com reports that the actor had been using both cocaine and alcohol.

"He loves his children and ultimately that's what convinced him to get help," a source told the Web site.

The actor has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault after he allegedly attacked his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day. He was reported to be drunk at the time. The source claimed, "He's used coke and been drinking many, many other times since then."

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series 'Two and a Half Men,'" Sheen's representative said in a statement yesterday.

Mueller is also in rehab for crack and alcohol addiction. She recently switched centers due to privacy issues.

Once again we hear the sour truth about the great Charlie. He has again shown his true self and it has again been a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Does he pick the wrong women, the ones that force him to do drugs and booze or is it vice versa? It does make on think. What ever the case he is on the road to being a washed up has been. His program is not as funny as it once was. He is getting old and looks rough these days. I also think that he is a danger to himself as well as those in his life. One can only hope that the children that he has been a sperm donor to don't growup to be like him in any way shape or form.

Charlie has been given chances and chances to get it right. The other day, I read a headline that said:"Charlie Sheen refuses to go to rehab." WHAT? How do you refuse to go to rehab? His show is the kind of mentality of 8 year old boys. They look at a girl and say "OOOOOOH, Boobies", then laugh stupidly. This kind of attitude teaches boys that women are "pieces" of what they want, and that men are idiots. I agree, on the show, they drink beer and each week one of them tries to (or gets to) sleep with some other girl. Charlie's real kids probably think this is what Real Life is about. I hope they are in somebody's care who cares about them.

BINGO!!!! I guess not too many other "men" who never really grew up could pull off the role CSheen has been relegated to. Pretty damn close to reality. 10th grade boy's locker room humor is CSheens forte' and what prime time TV has been reduced to.

Where is Social Services? if they weren't famous, wouldn't those children had already been removed from their home? it looks like double standard to me, one rule for regular people, and special treatment to famous celebrities... what kind of message authorities are sending? I wonder...

He's back in rehab because he's a loser addict and will be for the rest of his life. He's a nobody (like his dad, another loser addict). The apple didn't fall far from the tree!

Now I am not saying Charlie is gay but, he seems to have problems with any women he either dates or gets married to. So many men and woman hide in the closet just to keep fans. I think he would be better off living as a single man. Anyobe can pretend to be happy and anyone these days can have kids without really having the sex. Good luck Charlie.

Umm ok... let me see if I have this right. Both mommy and daddy are in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction, and it seems to be repeated behavior on their part. Am I over-reacting, or shouldn't their young children be taken away from them until they can prove that they can be parents?

Isn't the rehab a result of the investigation into the car going over the ravine? Didn't cops check phone records which show a certain close-to-the-accident cell tower call from Charlie's cell phone to a buddy that night, maybe? Hmmmh?? And the kiddies were going to be removed for cause if rehab wasn't part of Charlie's immediate future? 'Cause Mommy's also an addict and that's why SHE'S in treatment. Not such a good environment for Bob and Max, who already have problems because of Mommy's various bad habits while they were in utero, perhaps?

And maybe CBS is now involved in threatening Charlie to clean up his sad little act or kiss his lucrative contract goodbye when they heard about the cell phone call? Charlie's not so Teflon Charlie anymore.

I never did like charlie, his dad I do like. Hes the one that helped his two boys get where they are today, 'rich'. The other sone we dont hear anything bad about. But charlie has been a mess for ever. Hes old enough to know children and drugs dont mix, and his wife too. But they choice their own pleasure before the children, and the rest of the family. I like the show Two and a Half men, it is funny. Its just sad when everything has been given to someone, and they chose to ruin it all with drugs, and drinking. At his age he is sure negligent, and self righteous to still chose these life style. Its the children that end up paying for it all.

Wait a min. Didn't his drug test on Christmas Day show very little alcohol in his system with his wife's test showing like 3x the limit? Does anyone remember what the police said. After all, that was an official report. Those are the only reports to listen to. Still like his show, good actor....
