Sharon Osbourne 'Sick' Over Foxtail Fashion

Animal lover and reality TV star Sharon Osbourne is urging her fans to steer clear of Louis Vuitton's line of foxtail accessories. As Mrs. Ozzy Osbourne writes on Twitter: "Louis Vuitton foxtail handbag accessories make me sick. Please do not purchase those! It's heinous." Though the bags are part of Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2010 collection, stars like Victoria Beckham have already been seen with the vulpine appendage swinging from their purses.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has given Osbourne the thumbs up for her animal-friendly post: "As designers flaunted fur during Fashion Week in New York, and the usual suspects are expected to be as vulgar in Milan and Paris, we're pleased Sharon is using her voice to denounce the cruelty."

Osbourne's fans tend to agree. The 'America's Got Talent' judge posted her plea on Facebook too, and comments ranged from pats on the back for the rock matriarch to pronouncements that "only stupid people wear fur."

I lost respect in PETA when several workers in Norfolk, VA were found guilty of killing dogs, throwing them in a van and dumping the carcasses in North Carolina.

I have always run kind of hot and cold with my feelings toward Sharon. That ends today. Kudos to her for her stand and opinion. These money hungry, careless, overrated designers are sickening and moreso the idiots that pay for throwaway "fashion" while there are so many humanitarian issues in the world that could use the financial backing. Victoria Beckham is a robotic clown. I hope she rots. Thank you Sharon!

okay to you PETA supporters, without testing many things on animals, we would not have many cures, vaccines, and knowledge on a great many illnesses, diseases, etc. so, if you are so against this, think about not using antibiotics, medicines, and a whole lot more that used animal testing. PETA people are just as annoying as the anti abortion people or right to lifers. it is what it is. about those foxtails, they are ugly anyway.

If you are in need of carrying a real fox tail around for fashion, my opinion or you as a star will drop...Sorry Victoria Beckham...you just blew it. I don't understand. If you can eat an animal why can't you wear one? The hide is fur without fur. It's used for shoes, and wallets and also coats. A fur coat is the hide with the fur. What are you supposed to do with the hide after you eat the animal? I just don't get why that's wrong.

Kudos to Miz Osbourne - It just makes me sick to see ppl wear animal fur for the sake of fashion...It used to freak me out as a kid seeing rich, old ladies wearing fox fur coats with the head and tails intact. It's horrible. Stop wearing fur - faux fur is better!

I am on her side, let those animal live and don't have them for accessories on your handbag. Sharon Osbourne is right. All stars if they have a dog or cat, can you see your animals tail hanging on Victoria Beckhams purse, she needs to stop it. Also stars who wear real fur, think about the animals or are all of you psycopaths.

Can you imagine slaughtering frightened animals who live in overcrowded conditions so you can stick a foxtail on your bike or your hat? Really - the only people who would be this thrilled over an accessory like that are kids who think Dan'l Boone is still cool. Good to Sharon - she's correct.
