Adam Lambert, Sarah Palin Won't Shmooze at 'Tonight'

Opposites may attract, but when it comes to Sarah Palin and Adam Lambert and their upcoming 'Tonight Show' appearance, don't expect them to cross paths. Once Jay Leno returns to his once-Conan-occupied time slot after the Olympics, I'm hearing that Sarahcudda and Glambert -- who are on the same night -- have no intentions of trading nail polish secrets. Scoop on them, plus Jon and Kate after the jump!

No Glambert for Sarahcudda

Sarah Palin and Adam Lambert are both confirmed to appear on the same episode of 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' when he returns to prime time after the Olympics, but don't expect to hear a duet.

"The producers would love to have Sarah and Adam meet face-to-face on camera. It would be ratings gold. However, that is not going to happen," revealed a TV insider about the March 2 meeting. "Both camps have made it clear they have no interest in meeting backstage or onstage."

That's too bad. They would be amazing belting out the Donny and Marie classic, 'A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock 'n' Roll.'"

Jon and Kate ... Again?

Sources close to the Gosselin family tell me that since the media spotlight has disappeared and fancy party invites have stopped arriving, Jon Gosselin has realized just how much he misses his old life with Kate and all eight of his children.

"Jon is tortured by regret and wishes he could turn back the clock," a friend of the octodad tells me. "Jon thought that after Kate, he would be more successful with hot celebrity women and movie roles pouring in. He even thought he would become a fashion designer. But now that his 15 minutes of fame are over, he is left alone to wonder 'What have I done?'"

And although Jon is finding out the grass isn't always greener, he better get used to his side of the lawn, as my sources tell me "Kate would never take him back now. There is way too much water under the bridge."

Thankfully, though, a rep for Jon tells me he will not be reuniting with Kate.

Room Service Prepares for Big Chefs

The center of the food universe this weekend will be at the Loews Miami Beach and the Gansevoort Hotel as hundreds of the world's best chefs gather for the 9th annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

The two best hotels will host -- among others -- Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Rocco DiSpirito and Guy Fieri, who will be throwing the closing party of the weekend at the Gansevoort.

Good thing the room service at both properties is fit for a king -- or queen Rachael Ray.

Steve you're wrong and a prude. So what that Adam was over the top some performers are like that and when Adam did his performance it was at about 11:00PM at night. And FCC which is useless saids from 10:00PM to 6:00AM that networks can get away with a little bit more and Adam has tone his performances down since then.

Lambert is a real piece of work who should go in a real closet & stay there. He turns whatever talent he has into a sideshow. He is nothing but an attention-seeker & he should not expect any from me. There are too many REAL people around with REAL talent. The right person won the last "Idol."
Palin is brighter than she is given credit for & a decent individual. Don't rule her out for anything.

Adam has been singing since he was a kid.
I think you're very wrong. He seems to be a very humble person who has major talent. Kris shouldn't have won. I don't listen to Kirs. He sounds like any other singer on the radio. Adam is different.
I'm so sorry you don't accept people who are different than you.
That to me is very sad.

So by your account no other so called talents have turned their act into a side show? There are way too many to count...If his music does not interest you, then do not listen. Simple as that.

Adam Lambert isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's talented as hell and is polite to everyone. Sarah Palin is neither. Palin's 'job' is spreading hate and lies. She's not stupid enough to believe her own crapola, which means it's intentional. Which is worse - stupid or deceitful?

Freak of nature? Yes I suppose Prince, David Bowie, Madonna, Jimmy Morrison, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Sting, KISS, ACDC, Alice In Chains,etc...etc... and countless other mega music celebraties were labeled as such throughout there careers as well. Yes tom you make a good point because highly creative & artistic beings are incredibly rare and just may qualify as being "freaks of nature". Although I prefer to just say that Adam is majorily gifted myself!

Laura, I agree with you 100%. What is important to me is the entertainment value. Was I entertained, if so, then it was worth it and this applies to movies, music and concerts.

And what is real talent exactly? You say Adam insults real talent.
What would be your example of real talent?
