Former 'Idol' Top Twelver Arrested For Identity Theft

Chikezie Eze, who reached tenth place on the seventh season of 'American Idol,' was arrested Thursday night at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ. Reportedly, Eze attempted to use "fraudelent means" to make a purchase -- it's unknown whether that was use of a bad check or a credit card not belonging to the singer -- and was recognized by the cashier.

The former 'Idol' contestent was detained by store security until police arrived. Eze was taken to a Beverly Hills jail and booked on felony identity theft. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

how is all this change working out for all you black people that voted for obama cause he is black not working out so good when did you ever see a black man looking out for another black man just look at the unemployment lines they sure seem to be full of more black people than white let me tell you obama does not feel your pain you follow a man only because of skin color not a smart move but now that you got over having your first black president maybe next time you will vote for a better leader and not cause of skin color but by that time iran will already have the bomb and the only jobs left to be had is working as a robber so you put food in your belly and if you get caught at least you will get a plce to sleep and 3 meals a day and thats not too bad

It's unfortunate to see someone who had some talent fall from grace like he did. But, he'll have to join the ranks of many Idol hopefuls who pretty much destroyed their chances (Jessica Sierra, Corey Clark, etc.)

As it being a race issue. Every race steals, and I highly doubt it was because we have a "black" president. None of you would be saying this if the white guy won.

Obama is guilty of ID fraud, too, so why isn't he arrested?Obama’s Social Security number is registered under the state of CT. The number is 042-68-4425. That SS number was issued in CT to an individual who was born in 1890.

I guess he was trying to make "Eze" money. Just like our lameass president, The media star. How is all that hope and change working out for you unemployed obama supporters now?, Sure he is a good speaker and a nice guy but I know quite a few nice people and good speakers but that does not mean they are qualified to run a corporation much less the country. Most hussein supporters had never even heard of him back in 2006 and now he is our clueless leader. That is truly pathetic.
