Kate Gosselin Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Line-Up

Kate Gosselin is returning to reality television -- only this time, she'll do it with a new plus-one.

Gosselin is one of 11 celebrities who will be competing on season 10 of ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars.' The announcement -- which was first reported exclusively by RadarOnline -- was made official during tonight's finale of 'The Bachelor.' (For the full list of contestants, head over to Inside TV.)

Kate's dancing partner has yet to be revealed.

Kate may be taking the time demanding gig, but that doesn't mean she'll be neglecting her kids. She will most likely practice her routines in Pennsylvania, near her home. The show will gladly accommodate her busy lifestyle because they know she will be great for ratings, a network source told Radar.

Kate's children just may be the reason for her decision. Since ex-husband Jon Gosselin's lawsuit with TLC cost the family a hefty sum, Kate is taking her role as primary breadwinner very seriously, sources said.

"Kate's the kind of woman who will do whatever is necessary for her children," said one source. "It's great for her to be on the show, but she did it only in a way that benefits her family."

'Dancing with the Stars' premieres Monday, March 22nd on ABC.

This is about John n Kate....are YOU KIDDING ME? This person needs to go home! We all want a real Movie Star...Singer...talented person! This women is a phony fake and is livin off the doctor who performed her procedure! Lets do a reality show on him! None of us care to see her Dance or anyone she dances with! We all only pay attention just so we can watch her Fall! Dont like her hubby but would rather see him act like an ass...than her act like a Star!!!

Totally AGREE with you. This woman isn't famous. Now that John doesn't have the kids everyday how did Kate ever decide to do this show? Does she realize how much time it will really take? Now the poor children will be without a Mom and a Dad as they grow up with nannies while John & Kate both just push their own agenda down viewers throats. REALLY! Does anyone really think either of them has any talent. Poor kids.

I always watch DWTS, but IF I watch, it will be for Evan. Why do these idiots keep ruining my favorite shows?

I hope Kate goes home the first day! Ha! I know, no one does. Maybe she will break a leg...literally! She makes me sick just looking at her.

She throws her husband away after demeaning him for 10 years, then PRETENDS he cheated on her. Geeze, she threw him out when they bought the BIG house, but TLC kept it quiet.

Jon had EVERY right to find someone when Kate was already screwing Steve, the bodyguard!

Wow, this really surprised me. Who ever said Kate was a star? I thought it was funny how someone said they wanted her because she would help ratings of the show. If anything it will hurt ratings. This is the first year that I have considered not watching the show. She is doing this for her kids, right. If she would not have let all the money and success of John & Kate go to her head then she would not be worrying about them now. They did not need a million dollar home with everything including the pool. Millions of Americans make due with much less money and are really happy. I do not like what John has done since the divorse but a woman like that could change a guy for the worst. Both of them let the money take over their lives. It became the most important thing and not the children. I don't care how many times she says everything she does is for them.

Sorry to disagree but Kate is a star like it or not she is also an author... I do believe she will do anything necessary to bring in the cash for her large family..she has alot of expenses to manage both present and future..dentist,college etc. Lets be happy she is not looking for the goverment via our taxes to care for her family.
