Two More Pussycats Leave the Dollhouse

Ashley Roberts and Kimberley Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls have left the popular girl group, reports BBC News.

Ashley Roberts made her announcement on Twitter stating that she had "an amazing ride" and "learned so much." Roberts further added that she will "always love those girls. My sistas 4 life".

Kimberley Wyatt cryptically stated that "money and fame can't buy happiness."

Ashley Roberts, 28, previously appeared in music videos for Counting Crows, Josh Groban, Jane's Addiction, Aaron Carter and Pink. Her father played drums for the 60s pop group the Mamas & the Papas.

Kimberley Wyatt, 28, danced on the sketch comedy show 'Cedric the Entertainer Presents' as well as being a choreographer and dancer on a music video for Nick "Mr. Jessica Simpson" Lachey's solo album. She is recording an album which is expected to be released in 2010.

The 'Pussycat Dolls' formed as a burlesque troupe based out of Los Angeles in 1995 before signing with Interscope Records in 2003. Original members included Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta as well as Roberts and Wyatt. Bachar and Sutta had also previously left the group based on tensions surrounding Scherzinger singing lead vocals on all songs.

Their hits include 'Don't Cha,' 'Buttons' and 'Stickwitu,' the last earning them a Grammy nomination. The group is on hiatus until later this year and are expected to release another album with a new lineup.

I always wondered why Nicole sings every song...it doesnt seem like the other girls even sing back up its like their just there to look at. You can't blame them for being jealous and wanting to leave the group. I wish them much success.

Hey PopEater author! Nick Lachey has more talent than Trailer Park Jessica's EVER had. She's nothing more thann window dressing with a big rack. I'm no fdan of "boyband" music, but I'd rather watch ANYTHING he does than be forced to sit through ANYTHING by that train wreck of a no-talent wench.

Ahd while one of the gals worked with him, neither has anything to do with this article. A couple of openings the gals could fill, once the Court Yards Hounds album is a hit, if the ladies are from Dixie, like Jessica is.

Nicole sings all lead vocals and majority of backgroud vocals because she was the only one originally hired to sing, the rest were dancers hired as employees of interscope records. they were on a payroll just like any other employee there. Most of them dont sing anyway and if they did who would actually care?
