Susan Dey, AKA 'The Partridge Family's' oldest daughter Laurie, isn't on Twitter. So, don't bother trying to figure out why she skipped the Tuesday morning family reunion on the 'Today Show.' Nobody knows. OK, maybe producer beau Bernard Sofronski knows, but he's not on Twitter either. It's time to face facts. Gathering television's most famous families in one room is darn near impossible. Not that onscreen sibling Danny Bonaduce cares...Yesterday it was 'Eight is Enough's' Adam Rich who skipped the 'Today' reunion. The oft-troubled youngest Bradford wrote in saying he was there "in spirit." Dianne Kay, who played Nancy Bradford on the late '70s hit didn't make it either, though she stopped by via live feed.
Diana Hyland, the original 'Eight is Enough' matriarch, succumbed to cancer just days after the show's first episode aired in 1977. Lani O'Grady, 'Eight is Enough's' eldest Bradford sister, died of a drug overdose in 2001.
There were virtually no unkind words uttered by the gathered Bradford clan. That wasn't the case for the Partridges.
But then again, 'The Partridge Family' hasn't been quite so beset by tragedy. All of the show's central cast members are alive and seemingly well today.
The family's "winsome moppets," Suzanne Crough, Brian Froster, David Cassidy, and Danny Bonaduce showed up to reminisce with Matt Lauer on old times passed.
Mama Shirley's absence was excused. Mrs. Jones is on tour "doing 17 concerts in 17 nights with symphony orchestras," Cassidy explained.
But Dey's absence was spoken of under a shadow of dismay.
"The only way you can reach Susan Dey is, I think, by teleprompter," Bonaduce joked.
"Susan who?" Crough said under her breath.
Cassidy had more sentimental words. "I loved Susan. I haven't seen her in years," he said. "She became a very close friend of mine. I felt like she was a sister... she was two years younger than I. If you're out there and you're watching Susan, we still love you."
"Not me so much," Bonaduce butted in. "I'm being sincere."

Susan has a right to live her own life. Danny doesn't have room to talk. He can't get a acting job that he isn't killed off. Susan if you are reading this I hope you are living a good life.

Danny Bonaduce is nothing but cruel violent alcoholic drug user!!The world will be a better place when he no longer walk the earth!!
How can a sweet likable redhead kid turn into an ugly arrogant douchebag?

He's an ALKY loser with no talent and no class....F**K HIM!
Personally, I think twitter is for twits. Who needs to tweet every thought and location they're at? Idiots.

Susan Dey is a witch. She hated being associated with that show & thought she should better be known for that stupid law show she did w/ Harry Hamlin, which no one remembers the name of. Bonaduce is funny and honest. Which bothers you more?

Funny? Rarely, and honest, I don't think so. Those are just his opinions. If I remember, there was a time Susan quit a show because she didn't like how she looked. That could be the case now. What does Danny have against her, he was a little kid in the show?
Um, the show was "L.A. Law" and it is a classic.
Unlike you, most people remember it.
I can't believe that this is news. Wow.

To The Partridge clan:
Thanks! ...for a world of great memories. Those not around at the time, can't understand just how big this show was. The music, somewhat dated by 40 years, was written by some of the best songwriters ever, with music by some of the best studio musicians around. These songs were, by design, pop, aimed at the tween market, and above all...clean! The writers and the show succeeded.
You guys are the greatest!

What a LOSER!

I'm pretty sure no one is bothered by the words of a serial junkie, wife beater, gay prostitute batterer, alcoholic (fill in the rest of this poor losers resume.)
This poor bastard is so sad.

Bonaduce is such a punk... Can I smack him around some for everybody? Before anyone starts with the blackbelt crap, it's OK so am I... =D

Everything has to be SO controversial. Bonaduce was just kidding people. Get over it. He was having a moment. It was all in jest.

Susan Dey is on a mission for the mormon church spreading the true gospel. She would be forgiving of her detractors if she bothered to take time to listen to their negativity.

Susan is living a normal life with her husband and daughter.
If anything by NOT appearing it seems she got more notice than if she had shown up. She's being talked about MORE than the ones that were there. lol Susan you don't have to answer to no one!! Look how the rest turned out - doing cheesy reunions.

Lets face it...Whenever there is a reunion of cast members from a past tv show, there is always one who decides not to participate. It happens nearly every time.

I would like to thank you all for the reunions, I love seeing the casts again and what they are doing now. I hope you have more!
