Naomi Campbell Accused of Assaulting Driver

Naomi Campbell is being sought for questioning in a possible assault case, reports the Associated Press. A law enforcement official confirms that Campbell's driver has accused the model of slapping and punching him while he was driving her around New York City. The driver claims that Campbell, 39, became angry and physically assaulted him from the backseat.

Reportedly, the driver stopped the car in midtown Manhattan. He says that Campbell exited the car the car and left the area when he called 911.

The official, who spoke to The Associated Press anonymously during the ongoing investigation, said the driver was speaking to police at the precinct.

UPDATE: According to the New York Times, as of late Tuesday evening, police were no longer interested in speaking with Campbell and are considering the case closed. While a report was taken following the incident, which reportedly occurred at the intersection of Second Avenue and 58th Street in NYC, no charges were filed.

Regarding the alleged altercation, Campbell's spokesperson issued the following statement: "There shouldn't be a rush to judgment. There is more to the story than meets the eye."

Campbell has plead guilty to assault charges twice in the last three years. In 2007, she was sentenced to five days of community service and anger-management classes after pleading guilty in New York to reckless assault for hitting her maid in the head with a cellphone. In 2008, she assaulted two police officers at Heathrow Airport in London, and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and fined $4,600.

Naomi Campbell has been assaulting people for years and getting away with it. If she weren't a "celebrity" I'm sure she would be treated much differently. I can't wait for the day when she decides to assault the wrong person and she gets her ass kicked. People like her, that think they are above the law, make me sick. One day she will, most certainly, try to hit the wrong person and then, maybe, she will get it through her head that you are not allowed to hit people!

Enough is enough. I think it's past time for this whacked out runway diva to do some jail time. This woman obviously has an anger management problem and if a judge doesn't stop it now, she will eventually seriously hurt someone.

Now this i do believe i went to school for fashion design an one of my teachers were a friend of hers(still is) an she has a nasty mouth an attitude he told the class of things that were made for her to wear an how she handles people..then shell get on camera an say i did not do this..........but i believe she did not just how my teacher told the class of an fashion situation its the simple fact they are close friends an ur friends will be the first one to spill your beans..........(friend?)

So, exactly how many times can that nutcase Naomi Campbell get away with assaulting people? If it were any average person, they'd be in the slammer after the 2nd incident.
