Shock! Howard Stern Skewers 'Lap Dog' Jay Leno

Celebrating Jay Leno's return last night as host of 'The Tonight Show,' Jaime Foxx was ecstatic. This morning, Howard Stern was a little less pleased: The shock jock spoke to CBS live from his Sirius XM Radio studio for close to five minutes, venting his distaste for "The Chin."

"Just the mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me to want to vomit," Stern told 'The Early Show.' "I don't like this guy. I don't disguise it."

Stern said he felt that after Leno's 10 PM program bombed, the respectable move would have been for Jay to relocate to a new network and face Conan and Letterman's shows head-on.

"Jay Leno seems to be the kind of showbiz animal that won't let go," Stern said. "Jay is a lap dog."

This morning was a continuance in Stern's tradition of lampooning Leno. Last fall, he called Jay "a f****** con man, rip-off artist, no idea mother*******," after it appeared Leno lifted an idea from Stern's show.

Stern also acknowledged recent rumors he may replace Simon Cowell on 'American Idol,' saying it would be tough to say no to a high-paying gig in tough economic times.

Leno is a no-talent hack and rip-off expert. He has never been funny. He does not have a creative molecule in his body. Stern and Conan are both infinitely more talented than "The Chin." Someone would have to be lobotomized to find Leno's stale crap funny. Leno's Tonight Show will crash and burn.

Who gives a chit what howard stern thinks. Leno has gone head to head with Letterman and has won. Letterman was only number one against Conan AFTER Jay Leno left. If Jay went up against Letterman and Conan, Jay would win. That's a no brainer. Same as howard stern - no brain!

Hey Bratmedic; in reponse to my negativity re Howard Stern.
NO, I've never heard his "radio show", BUT, if you'll kindly read my response in its entirety, you'll find I've seen his t.v. show...sooooo, what's the difference? Except that he's more than likely exceedingly brain damaged on radio (can't see his face so he'll use hiding behind the closed door to his advantage).
As for me being a moron; a name you use more often than any other, I have a 168 i.q. which you probably do not understand as your i.q. seems to be in the Stern catagory AND definitely your language is limited; i.e., 'moron.'

Howard USE to be funny.... when he was a smuck who made it big and was still stuck with his housefrau wife.. once he started dating models, the "regular" guy thing became moot.

It's all about the money...Leno, Stern, Obrian, NBC, XTC is Ben Franklin. They will all sing, dance, talk probably allow you to put strings on their arms and feet and guide them for the right amount of Ben Franklins. My guess is Stern is jealous...
