Kate Gosselin Debuts Sexy Look. Cue Jon's Apology

It seems like just yesterday the Kate Gosselin was being drug into a media firestorm following her divorce from ex-husband Jon Gosselin. But this week, as she prepares for 'Dancing With The Stars,' Kate has been stepping out in New York looking sexy, vibrant and young. Hitting up red carpet events with a huge smile and no drama, Kate has a great 2010 to look forward to.

Even Jon is extending an olive branch in her direction with a recent Twitter post: "Congratulations to Kate for joining the new season of DWTS. I am thrilled for her. She has my support and vote," the reality dad wrote. "Here is to 2010 for new beginnings and leaving the past mistakes in 2009."

Kate will join dance partner Tony Dovolani on the ballroom floor this season. "She's never taken a step of dancing in her life, but she's very hard-working. She's willing to try everything. She's definitely not the best dancer," Dovolani told Us Weekly.

He also said they'll begin rehearsing on a makeshift dance floor in the basement of her home in Wernersville, Pa. "I think she's going to do incredible," her partner added.

"I've never seen anybody be as driven as she is. When she comes in, whether it's five hours or six hours of rehearsal, it's pretty intense the entire time. It's about learning and learning and learning."

On Monday, Kate told Jimmy Kimmel that her kids still come first, despite her hectic dancing schedule. "The whole goal is obviously to be at home as much as I can, and I'll come home back-and-forth each week. If I can cook dinner and dance, I'll be doing really well."

I thought we finaly heard the last of Kate... I for one will not watch DWTS.... she wants stardom but she forgets she has the "8" at home... give us a break!

How funny that Jon always used to say how he liked her with long hair and now she has it. She's the one who went to her brothers and said it was over. What else is Jon suppose to do...... I AM SO HAPPY FOR HER! SHE CAN LEAVE THE 8 BRATS WITH SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF. HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY TO PAY THE CARETAKER AND MAYBE SHE WILL FIND ANOTHER UGLY NASTY MAN TO SCREW AROUND.HAVE ANOTHER 6 KIDS AND HAVE ANOTHER REALITY SHOW.MIGHT CALL IT SEE HOW MANY WEEKS I CAN NOT SEE MY KIDS! Hey Kimberly- with all the time she is away, the kids probably call the babysitters "mom". Most parents use babysitters on occasion not to raise their kids for them.

Why must everyone bash Kate all the time? I give her alot of credit. She's a great mom. Did any of you see who she was married to? Hello? Of course she had to be strict. She had to keep all the kids in line and try to get some help from her good for nothing husband. You need a schedule and discipline other wise the kids would rule the house. And so what if she's on DWTS!! There were other women on the show who had a bunch of kids at home. Why weren't you bashing on them? I give props to Kate!! She has my vote! And she looks stunning!!

oh yes - her fake boobs too!! - just goes to show you what 15 minutes of fame can do to some people - she has no talent - she's a mom and i'm not so sure she's even a good one anymore. the kate we learned to like at the beginning of her show doesn't exist anymore. her ego is more important to her than anything. what is she doing at a discovery channel event - she should home watching discovery with her children
