Tom Cruise Involved in Motorcycle Crash?

Tom Cruise was involved in a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, narrowly avoiding injury according to HollywoodLife.com, who broke the news of the crash.

According to the report, Cruise was riding down a local street in Los Angeles when a car ran through a stop sign, causing the actor to slide on his bike into another car. Cruise was reportedly limping following the crash, but refused to be taken to the hospital. His publicist, however, tells E! Online that reports of an accident are "totally false."

Cruise's motorcycle was badly damaged in the collision, with Hollywood Life reporting that the "gears were completely torn to shreds on the left side."

Still, the Cruise camp denials continue. On the official Cruise Twitter page, the following message was posted: "Tom NOT in motorcycle accident 2day...Tom tells us he hasn't been on his bike in days due 2 the weather, but when it clears up, look out. ;)"

I have to say, I am really beginning to believe this was just a story made up to improve ratings. I really don't believe he was in a wreak. I hate these tabloids and how they lie constantly for ratings, I won't read them. seems like there is something illegal or un-ethical about the way they do business. What's wrong with everyone? Whether you like Tom Cruise or not, whether he's weird or not, he's still a human being and I for one, am glad he was not hurt. He can always replace his bike, but humans can't be replaced.
