Where are Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren and Queen Latifah on your Best Dressed list??? Why put Kristen Steward and that hideous rag on there and leave out these gorgeous, stylish women?

In my humble opinion, Kate Winslet had the most elegant and beautiful dress of all!
Nobody seemed to make anything of it..
Too bad no one told Miley Cyrus to stand up straight... She looked like she was going to fall forward. He posture was just awful.

Sandra Bullock's make-up was so overdone. It looked like something you see on a corpse. She is a beautiful women. No clue why she would ruin it with that bucket of make-up and all the grease slicking down her hair.

I thought Mo'nique and Queen Latifah looked great. SJP looked atrocious, and it wasn't just the dress, her hair was awful too, she looked about 65. J-Lo's dress should have made the worst dressed too - I mean, skin tight AGAIN, she's such a one trick pony. And Kristen Stewart dress may have been OK, but the way that girl walks is an insult to clothing - someone has to teach her to walk proud with her shoulders back - stooping never looks good, the only person who came close to pulling off stooping with style was Princess Diana and she finally started walking tall too. And on the very worst list would be the costume design award winner, who looked like she was wearing an old pair of curtains from the 50's! (I do agree Charlize's dress looked like a stripper's outfit - the boob part especially!)

You would think by now that most of these gals would have a clue about how to dress for one of these SHINDIGS. It doesn't take a scientist to figure out if the mirror cracks when you stand in fromt of it, its not a go!!! I am a home desiger, hi-end furniture and accessorys. They should take into consideration hair color, length, skin texture,heigth, WEIGHT and colors that work well w/ them. several of these people have not a clue how bad they really look, don't they have any friends out there.If you have a pale or very light skin something with a med/darker color & don't wear red or pink if you are walking the red carpet. keep the biker, mountain climbing & wrestling attire in your closet, only on dates girls.

Actually,,,,,you all overlooked the classiest,,,most beautifully put together,,,in her hair-do,,,make-up,,,& choice of gown,,,,,,, both color & design,,,& that was none other than the lovely MERRYL STREEP.....I only wish i had seen the total gown,,,i was only able to see her sitting,,, & noticing her having a wonderful time! She is in a catagory by herself,, & her fellow actors know it!!

The correct usage in your headline--the verb "shine" without a direct object is "shone," non "shined," FYI.

They all have their own look. They all looked stunning. Yes some gowns were better than others. My favorite was Sarah Jessica Parkers dress, she looked amazing! Im not a big ruffle fan, but more power to the women who think they can pull it off. One thing I noticed and wished I saw less of was pose. I think alot of these women should be more authentic with it. The hand on the hip thing is not cutting it for me.

Is it just me, or am I the only one who liked Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress? Rachael McAdam's dress is to die for, so pretty.

steve buscemi looked absolutely dashing and rosie odonnel was easily the most beautiful woman there. even more so than queen latifah

Zoe Saldana looks like she has 3 legs, two of them horses hoofs in that gown.
