Marie Osmond Lays Son to Rest With Words of Thanks

The Osmond family held a funeral for Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son, Michael Blosil, on Monday, in Provo, Utah.
In attendance were Marie's brother Donny, and Michael's biological mother Marie,
PEOPLE reports.
"I'd just like to say thank you to everybody. As you see I have amazing support from great men, my family, my brothers. God was very wise when he put me into a family with honorable men because they have served as examples for my children," Marie said, although she hadn't planned on speaking.
"I'm so proud of each and every one of you," she added of her children. "I'm proud of my son and I honor his birth mother who's here today, who gave me the greatest gift. Thank you for those beautiful 18 years."
Blosil committed suicide in late February. He was adopted while Osmond was married to her ex-husband, Brian Blosil.
Donny Osmond performed the invocation at the funeral. "Bless my sister. Bless my sister and her family. May she feel my love and my comfort," he said through tears.
Michael's siblings also spoke fondly of their brother.
"Michael never forgot my birthday. That's a big deal in a family that's as big as mine! ... The house was more fun when he was home. We had dance competitions to Miley Cyrus songs. He would make up words and sing along. We'd have whipped cream fights in the kitchen," 12-year-old Brianna remembered.
His 17-year-old sister Rachael described what was going through her mind. "All I had in my mind were questions, most beginning with what if, what if I had done this, what if I had done that, I shouldn't have done this, I should have done that. We always thought he was going to get married first and have kids. We wanted to go to school together next year."

Hey Simzee, first off, you're a heartless douche bag. Secondly, you're a STUPID douche bag, because it is a LAW that you are entitled to 3 days of bereavement pay (obviously with those days off) when an immediate family member dies (parent, sibling, spouse, child) so STFU and go try to sell stupid somewhere else.

God Bless this family in this time of sadness and sorrow. May this young man rest in peace, and may his mothers (both of them) find happiness and peace in the future. Its very sad the young man didn't get the help he so desperately needed before this tragedy happened. God Bless the Osmonds (and no, I'm not into their music or dancing..)

Good thing Marie and Donny have a team of makeup artists on their payroll. Otherwise those crocodile tears they shed on Entertainment Tonight MONDAY might not look so good for their Vegas performance TUESDAY.

Really, Gary..what a jerk you are. All that hostility..I am very sad for Marie. We all hope we never have to find out what it is like to lose a child. Have a great day, all. It's a beautiful day in CA and I am enjoying my kids.

Marie adopted her son, with her ex husband. His name was Blosil and it was never changed. His biological mother's name also was Marie.
Why adoptive or biological should even be mentioned is horrible. He had 2 mothers who loved him dearly. For whatever reason one made a decision she felt was in his best interest - and love (not selfish abortion, etc) she gave him to a family who loved, cared and adored him.
At the funeral for the Meet the Press moderator, his son said, from something his dad said to a father who lost his son at 18. If God said you can have him for 18 years to love and enjoy or not know him, which would you choose? This son said, "my father told this grieving dad you know you would choose the 18 years to love rather than not at all." He went on to say the same about his dad. They had 18 years to love.
I know this heartache - I lost a 26 yr. old through no fault of her own in a tragic accident on an interstate involving a semi.

It's not a tragedy. Soldiers being killed by RAGHEAD TRIBAL IDIOTS is a tragedy. People being killed by drunk drivers is a tragedy.
He made his choice while his mother was making money and dancing with the stars besides performing in Vegas, for FAME & MONEY while her son was in a fragile state of mind. It only goes to show what was more important MONEY, FAME or FAMILY. But a drug addicted kid taking a dive, is not a tragedy.
