Sandra Bullock ended an incredible awards season with a Best Actress win for her performance in 'The Blind Side.'While accepting her award, an emotional Bullock thanked "what this film was about for me, which are the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from."
Then, through tears, Bullock saved time to thank her mother "for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18, because she was right. I would have done what she said I was gonna do."

I LOVE Sandra Bullock and the movie "Hope Floats" is one of my all time favorites; and of course, she was thinking of her mother.

Awe, I just watched Sandra's acceptance speech and when they showed her husband, trying to hold back tears. She waited a long time to marry so he must be a good guy despite what our first opinions of him are.

I thought she was dignified and poignant..She showed the utmost respect for the other women in her category. She, like myself, waited until later in her 30's to marry and people criticize that, boo on you!! The love that she and her Husband (who cares what show he's from-what if he was a nobody? Would you still have the same opinions?)have is the most beautiful thing. She, unfortunately (all of her films were great) from this point will finally be given or have the chance at role that she will stun us in, again. She is our funny-glamor-dramatic actress of our era....in 30+ years, I know we will remember her.
nope!!! not a good guy at all lol
A Class Act All The Way...Go Sandra!

I love, love Sandra Bullock. She is a beauty inside and out. You can feel she cares about others. Also im a partial to her, because I also have a german backround. She is right, because I was told too, by my father to see only the person and not to be prejudice against any one. Again she was deserving of the Oscar and her personality was shinig through. Everybody can feel she is very lovable and caring.

I, like so many others, have always liked Sandra Bullock, and thought her speech was very classy. However, with that said, I resent hearing that it was "her time" to win. While her performance in The Blind Side was excellent, I truly thought Meryl Streep deserved the Oscar for Julie and Julia. While watching that movie, you could've closed your eyes and thought you were listening to Julia Child herself. As for it being "Sandra's time" to win, Meryl hasn't won an Oscar in almost 30 yrs, despite some of the magical performances she's given. I am not detracting from Sandra's win, but I definitely thought it was Meryl's "time."

Sandra has more class in her ass than Jesse has in his whole body. I really feel that the part she played in the movie, Blind Side, is how she is in real life. She has always been down to earth, real, and she has the "it" factor that you can't buy, you have to be born with it. Poor Jesse will never get that close to class again, I guess that is why he went back to the only thing he knew, trash, and that is where he belongs.
