Sean Hayes Comes Out in The Advocate

After years of speculation about his personal life, 'Will and Grace' actor Sean Hayes has finally acknowledged, albeit circuitously, that he's gay in an interview with
The Advocate.
Hayes, who became a household name in the late 90s for his role as Jack McFarland on the NBC comedy, has been notoriously mum about his sexual orientation until now.
In the interview, which appears in April's issue of The Advocate
, the actor says, "I never have had a problem saying who I am... I am who I am. I was never in, as they say. Never."
Hayes is a member of an ever-growing list of celebrities who have come out in the media after hitting the big-time.
*NSYNC heartthrob Lance Bass famously appeared on the cover of
PEOPLE magazine alongside the words "I'm Gay" in July of 2006 after rumors of an alleged relationship with 'Amazing Race' winner Reichen Lemkuhl hit the blogosphere.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris, who first became famous for his eponymous role on 'Doogie Howser, M.D. and more recently for his role as Barney Stinson on 'How I Met Your Mother,' opened up to the same magazine just months later in November 2006. In his interview, Harris told
PEOPLE, "I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest."
As for why Hayes took so long in making his sexual orientation public, he says, "Nobody owes anything to anybody. You are your authentic self to whom and when you choose to be, and if you don't know somebody, then why would you explain to them how you live your life?"
He adds, "I feel like I've contributed monumentally to the success of the gay movement in America, and if anyone wants to argue that, I'm open to it. You're welcome."

This is not new info. He was on "Ellen" and you can tell that he was gay. They may be happy and fully content now but they will have no eternal life, because God says No to homosexuality and it is a sexual sin.

sorry sandy, but God NEVER said homosexuality is a sin..it was Leveticus
Sandy, you must be so tired judging so many people not up to your standards. Why don't you just give it a rest, and let God do the job. I'm sure he is much better at it than you are.
You, Sandy dear are a sin to the human race. Now go sit on your Bible!
And was Levitcus just a man?!
I thought "God" said not to judge people too. Why dont you reread the Bible
Sandy,
Sweetie, ALL humans are sinners. ALL. And, to God, a sin is a sin. In His eyes, all sins are equal. So, if homosexuals are sinners, and therefore going to hell, so dear are you. However, if you were a true Christian, you would know that Jesus gave his life so we sinners could go to Heaven. All sinners. I would suggest you open your bible and worry more about yourself. God Bless.
God say you are a moron.
Yes, the Bible is God's word and it is a sin, but to get to heaven you must repent of your sin and believe in Jesus as your personal Savior, who died for your sins! What does your will choose , heaven or hell?
Sandy, why don't you let God do the judging then.
God did say that he hates the act of being gay not the person
Idiot.
Eternal life? Dead is dead and it lasts a long time. Live the best life you can while you're alive and don't torment others because dead is dead. And it lasts a long time.
As to the Bible being the word of God, I won't even venture a guess which Bible and which version of God you are referring to. The Bible was written entirely by men, albeit men who claim to have heard the word of or voice of God or witnessed some miracle or other. We have institutions filled with people who see and hear things..that doesn't make them holy or their voices and visions divinely inspired.
Still religion persists in insisting upon itself to the exclusion of all others. It then gives tacit approval for the most ignorant of its followers to murder followers of other religions or interpretations of the same religion.
Well done! You judgmental religious zealots must be very proud of your bloody heritage.
It also says in the Bible that people who have affairs will not go to heaven yet some Godly people in the Bible not only had affairs but killed the husband. God is a personal matter between an individual and his/her maker and does not have an instruction manual, in my opinion. Ofcourse you are entitled to your opinion also, but i think you are wrong. Sorry.
You damn Bible beaters make me sick. I went to a Bible Beater church for a few years. After services a few couples would get together and all screw. You are all phonies and hide behind your big mouth Bible quotes. Mind your business about religion. A Sexual Sin. You are a piece of work. Put down the fascade and enjoy life. Have a drink, have wild sex, swear, dress "hot", you'll see how good you feel, and see how quickly your church buddies will condemn you. I feel sorry for you.
Leviticus is a long part of the bible. It also says that people aren't allowed to mix milk and meat and contains other kosher laws. So every time you a cheeseburger or pepperoni pizza you seal your seat in hell. What it doesn't say is that any one rule is more important than the other. You can't pick and choose the verses that conveniently fit your agenda.
You show me where in the bible are these words proclaimed. Whereas if you ha really read the bible then you must also know that daughters bedded their own fathers.
As far as the God that I believe in he is an all forgiving God. And Alas, he also made Gay people, Don't be so judgemental, that to is a sin, and God will forgive you as well.
Kroutan called it, a sin is a sin. Some think that if they don't do the sin that they are judgeing others with, then they are better. I would like to think that the worse sin is the ones that hurt others. When people go to work and screw everybody that they talk to, or get into a position of authority and ruin other peoples lives, they are the bigger sinner if that's possible. It's not to late to change or, hell isn't half full yet, I hope.
Have you yourself never sinned? I'm sure you have, so should God punish you, or forgive you like the loving father that he is.. Are you the only child of God that should be forgiven of your sins???? I DON'T THINK SO... You should find true religion..
Peace be with you sister.
I guess you won't be goin' to your Heaven, either...something like"Judge not, lest you be judged" "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you..." Get real, Little Ms. Christian...I'd rather go to Hell, thank-you! I'll meet all my buds, there!
