You're a heartless fella' Dan.
This is awful! I loved corey. It is a shame that the land of dreams can also be the destroyer of many lives.May he be in peace now and much love goes to his family.I would just hope that all these celebs that r lucky in fame like this would open up their eyes and realize u guys are lucky that u haave this oppurtunity to shine and succed this way unlike alot of people in this world, and you guys take advantage of the power and allow it to desroy you instead of strengthen yourselfs, and or help empower those less fortunate. You guys got a gift and you throw it away to what....to see how much drugs your body can handle?I am sorry to see so many good people(celebs)leave this world for some nasty, selfish, killing drugs. The drugs and alchol dont care about you guys! Why do you guys care so much about them?R.I.P. corey....love susie

I am so saddened. I saw Corey Haim so much in the movies as I grew up that I felt like I knew him. I am sorry for Corey Feldman. I always thought of them together. Great actors. I had both of them hanging on my wall as a young girl. You guys rock! Always.

When I look back to my teen years, I think of Corey Haim. I love "Murphy's Romance, Lucas and (my boys and I share this movie) The Lost Boys. You will be missed Corey.

Its ODD that celebrities are wishing him well now. BUT NO ONE WOULD GIVE HIM A JOB OR A CHANCE.

Thats what I was thinking! I wish they would have embraced him while he was living. Its too late now.
He had several chances; you can't save someone from themselves. Giving him a job isn't going to guarantee he'll show up to do the work. He was fired from several for being consumed with his demons when he should have been on set. Clearly you're uneducated with regards to addiction. He led a very tormented existance. It's unfortunate.
What a waste. Corey Fieldman tried helping him as did so many others so they must be feeling that they could have done more. We have no control over others and all we can do is love them and try our best but that is all. I loved Corey's movies and I watched the latest show with the two Coreys and I felt so bad that living as star children led them down such a bad road. Mrs. Haim I am so sorrowful for your loss. I would gladly wish never to have had your son entertain us and have had him grow as an everyday child just to have him safe and happy now.

Well said!
This is definitely sad news as I grew up watching corey on his various films. My personal fav was SILVER BULLET! What a great film! Even at nearly 36 years of age I watch it and watch that and other films like it with my kids. It was obvious while watching his recent projects that he was suffering eith drug abuse and it was very sad to watch. Rest in peace corey and I wish to send my reguards to his family and close friends.

As a child of the 80's it saddens my heart to see one of its brightest stars fade away.Corey Haim was one of a kind, talented and gifted and the world will never see his like again.i only hope and pray that his spirit will finally find the peace he searched so desperately for while on this earth.
And to those who scorned him,his so called friends and all those who all collectively and smugly turned their backs on him,i hope that you never forget that if you had been just a little less selfish,a little less egocentric and A lot less Hollywood, you could of saved him,it takes more than 1 days effort to save someone you love from whatever might be hurting them, not every problem is solved with a contract and a fat check.
to those that knew him,you let him die.
Rest in Eternal Peace Corey,we will miss you.
Keith.

The saddest thing of all is that no matter how many celebs die from drug overdoses, addicts don't learn from these tragedies. Once you're in the grip of their (drugs) power, your chances of quitting are slim. Especially when someone consumes the amount of drugs Haim was taking. He was on a one way road to an early grave from the onset. I still hope his loved ones find peace soon.
is Feldman going to have the decency to make a statement?

My condolences to the Feldman and Haim Family. But truly it shows the struggle and darkside of addiction. Please use this to make a differnce Cory F. Tell your stories. You know he tried to walk both sides, and it doesn't work. "Half measures availed us nothing". Peace to his survivors.
Thank you. I was wondering the same thing. I've met Corey Feldman, and he was very nice and had some class, I would imagine he will say something in his own time.
