I really wish there would be a revolution against drugs and alcohol! You Celebs need to start this... you spend a lot of time raising money for Haitti, which is very important, but you need to spend as much effort towards a campaign against drugs and alcohol!! Too many of you celebs are wasting away and thats not what I believe God has designed for your life. We as "regular" people have a lot to blame with this too. We put you all on a pedistal and when one is put there, there is nowhere to go but down. I personally am sorry for that. I'm sure the pressure of all that is great. I think as all people who live in the world need to treat each other the same. No one is more special than the other. God doesn't see you guys any different than how He see's me, so why do we as the "regulars" see you different? Hmmmm, I think thats something for everyone to really examine.
In the meantime lets do something about this drug and alcohol issue so we don't loose anymore people to this. Its such a waste of a precious life!

It hurts my heart to hear of the passing of Corey Haim. Like many of his fans, I'm 35 and remember growing up in the 80's watching many of his movies. May he find the eternal love and peace in heaven that he desired here on earth. My heart goes out to his family and close friends. We love you Corey!

How very pithy of you, it is to "dance with the dragon" you nit, now can we get back to mourning him and not your parents lost educational monies? Why people feel the need to be so negative, I don't know. He died, you didn't have to walk in his shoes - so judgment in this situation is insane. He can't defend himself, the ME's report isnt in, leave it alone. He is a child actor who had a lot of temptations thrown in his path you never did. I will miss what he could have been. RIP Corey

Yeah ,he was a nice young man who could not handle his demons so he hid behind the booze ,drugs ;you know they make real good crutches.
Dream a Little Dream, sweet pea. RIP

Corey was one of my first crushes! My room was decorated in photos/posters of Corey and River Phoenix back in the '80's. So sad that drugs prevailed over two of my childhood loves! RIP Corey!

After the 80's, Corey's life was "empty and sad" his words. I
remember during Corey and Corey he was just begging for help, and I
applauded the tough love he was shown. I mimicked it with my own
cousin. Now they are both dead. So what's the right answer, because
honestly, I wanted to beat the livin sense into my cousin, but my
wife wouldn't let me, and I know Feldman did too. Exuse me for sayin,
but these doctors, or pain management clinics aught to be filed into a
room with people like me and Feldman. I don't know how to play golf,
but in that room, it might be fun to learn. (ya know cause their
doctors and they know how and stuff!!).

Just thought the proof reading of this article should have caught that before print

LINDA: your an idiot! I was referring to why are the celbrities saying anything about him now. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION MY BOYFRIEND OF 11 YEARS DIED FROM ADDICTION. SO SHUT YOUR MOUTH.
Reply
Finally! Watching him destroy himself and fall face first down a rocky slope for the past 20 years has truly sucked.
My sympathy goes to his family and friends who have likely exhausted every opportunity to help him. Corey Feldman seemingly tried very hard to help him- too bad Haim wasn't willing to accept it and help himself.

rip corey. before everyone starts with there "opinions". drug addiction has taken a couple of my friends and family. it is a sickness that sometimes can't be helped. i wish it could though. but, let's focus on his career and pay our RESPECTS, instead of belittling lectures about his drug addiction. rest in peace and say hello to all the angels above for me.

It makes me want to puke really does because when I see people all upset over Corey's death, a person that was so sweet in real life and who couldn't get a break from his own friends and family and see these so-called fans who were not on his myspace, facebook or even cared a week ago, on here acting like they are going to be devestated it makes me sick. If you cared you would have noticed him suffering years ago or when he recovered this last year... it hurts when it someone you happen to know and people didn't care two weeks ago but now that he is dead, do, should have been there to support him before this

It is really sad to hear that corey has died my thoughts go out to his family. if there is really anyone to blame for his absent start with the doctor that was giving him his scripts for his pills!

Another sad, NEEDLESS loss from Hollywood. In this day and age, there is NO one who doesn't know the devastating effect of drugs. NO ONE forces a person to take that first pill, that first shot or the first snort.
If these young people start, they rarely ever stop. DON'T DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
