That's right. The Royal Opera House in London is planning an opera based on the life of Anna Nicole Smith,
BBC News reports. From the same people who brought you 'Jerry Springer: The Opera.'
Premiering in February 2011, the Dutch soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek will take the lead role as Anna Nicole.
The Royal Opera House said this will be "a major event in the UK arts calendar." It will be written by Richard Thomas and composed by Mark-Anthony Turnage.
Smith rose to fame after an appearance on the cover of Playboy in 1992. She later starred in a reality television show and became a spokesperson for a number of products. Smith famously married J. Howard Marshall, an oil tycoon 63 years her senior, who died shortly after. At the age of 39, Smith passed away from a drug overdose.
Although many controversies occurred after Smith's death, including a battle over her remains and custody of daughter, Dannielynn, Thomas said that the opera will conclude with her death.

Is the man who murdered Anna Nicole and also Murdered her teen son, Howard K. Stern - is that murderer of two people profiting from all of this? He kept her drugged, married herand when she was drugged she gave him power of attorney? AND this murderer is permitted to practice law in CALIFORNIA!

You have it absolutely wrong. Anna was an abusive addict a decade before she knew Howard.
Howard didn't hurt anybody in his life. He was business partner and agent. Anna Nicole was an adult woman who made her choices, she chose sex, drugs, party life. DannyLynn is her sole inheritor and she inherited Anna's Estate and image.
Anna arranged her life as it was even her death, she said she was going to live and die like marilyn monroe, guess what she wanted to!
