Renee Zellweger Rewards Good Samaritan With Coffee

Actress Renee Zellweger was saved from a possible parking ticket when a stranger slipped some coins into her expiring meter outside Starbucks. Her reply? Zellweger gave him a $100 Starbucks gift card -- with a sweet message. "Wow," the note read. "Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude, Renee!"

With Zellweger in the middle of ordering, the gentleman dashed outside the store and put a few coins in the meter, saving her from being fined by a traffic warden, UK's Daily Mail reports.

The actress is currently between films, having recently completing the comedy 'My Own Love Song.'

She has also signed on to reprise her role as Bridget Jones in another film, which is scheduled for release next year.

It seems like a nice story, but you do wonder about the guys motives. Im sure he had to know who she was and the way this country is obsessed with celebrities......just an observation, though Ive heard that Ms. Zellweger is one of the more down to earth actors around.
