'Minute' Host Guy Fieri Talks Richard Dawson and Bruce Lee (Seriously)

Guy Fieri's gone from restaurant chef to reality contestant to Food Network star, and now, he's a prime time game show host for NBC's 'Minute to Win It.' (premieres Sunday March 14) PopEater was able to land a few minutes with the spiky-haired Fieri to talk a bit about his personal game show preferences, and also who his dream dinner line-up would be. His choices were even more awesome than we could have imagined. Check It Out:

Slow cookers work their magic by applying a low heat for a long time but they wont "brown" or sear. Most foods, especially meats, have to be browned-off in a big frying pan before being placed in the slow cooker. The "Magic" is how a slow cooker can take an unchewable tough meat & make it tender. For example, lamb shanks. Tough meats contain much more flavor than the tender cuts, a secret few people know about & one reason why I eat better than most billionaires....Alfred-

Guy needs to stick with his cooking skills and forget this totally ridiculous show. I saw him on Regis and Kelly yesterday and couldnt believe that any TV station would waste their time and promote this type of show. It is a show that only morons would waste their time on.

Have any of you watched E or MTV/VH1 lately? If you want to see the true dumbing down of America start there. I fail to see how a game show could cause a stir. He's a very strong personality and I think it just might work.

NBC is a major network, unlike E, VH1 or MTV. What the hell was Jeff Zucker thinking about when he came up with this idiotic idea? Even watching Kelly and Anderson Cooper yesterday, the espression on the faces as they played these stupid games proved what a failure this show is going to be. It is an embarrasement to todays programming schedule.

Guy is a swell headed pseudo celeb. I asked for an autograph for my daughter at the 13th. annual tomato festival and his pretend body guards and he ignored me and walked away to the press sucking up to him. Although his show is good he is a pompous jackass in real life with his own "posse". His popularity will swain.

DO NOT hate on Guy...he is a down to earth likeable person who is a really good business man.He knows how to market himself.He is also a strong family man. For the person whineing about her kid not getting an autograph? To me you are just plain RUDE and obnoxious to even ask for an autograph and photo IF it was not an autograph/photo session.Why should anyone concede to YOU?Guy is a savvy business man and restaurant owner.Read his bio.He is no slouch.
