Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy Split!

They were television's most unlikely couple. Now, they are officially splitsville.

After rumors of discord, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have confirmed they have broken up, People.com reports. No other details of the split were given.

The two Ghost Whisperer stars have been dating for more than a year. They made their relationship public just months after Hewitt officially broke up with her then fiance Ross McCall (who had appeared in one episode of the Ghost Whisperer in 2006).

While many in the world said it wouldn't last between the actress and the comedian, Hewitt showed her commitment by nursing her man through a kidney stone procedure in 2009, People.com wrote at the time.

Love Hewitt recently dropped a big hint of Kennedy discord when she appeared on Lopez Tonight pushing her book The Day I Shot Cupid.

"It's all about romance and guys," Hewitt said. " I wanted the chance to sort of say, 'this is what dating has been for me.'"

Good God, no wonder she's on her own. What kind of person talks like that and "promotes" it? It's disgusting. I don't want to know or hear about that - totally gross and very gauche of her.

I am really shocked that she thinks that a vajayjay is all that a woman is. To adorn it with jewels???? How about celebrating the woman as a whole instead of celebrating a hole. As the song goes I am woman, I am invincible, not I am woman let me glue on some tinsle.

Jamie Kennedy has NEVER fit this role in the Ghost Whisperer and absolutely does try to hog the scenes. I don't like him in the show and I have less interest in it since he's been on there. PLEASE, for Jennifer's sake and OURS, BOOT HIM OFF OF THERE!! I really enjoyed the first guy that was on there the best. He was awesome.
