David Schwimmer Is Engaged!

'Friends' actor David Schwimmer and photographer Zoe Buckman have announced they'll soon be husband and wife. On Sunday, his rep confirmed the couple were engaged, Entertainment Weekly reports. This will be the first marriage for both Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 24.

The two met in London while he was there directing the 2007 comedy 'Run Fatboy Run.' Schwimmer shot to fame playing Ross Gellar on 'Friends.'

They couple have been living together in Chicago while working on a stage show called 'Trust,' a piece developed by Schwimmer and his writing partner, Andy Bellin.

Schwimmer has been simultaneously editing the movie version of 'Trust,' which stars Clive Owen and just wrapped shooting in Ann Arbor, Mich., and the stage play, which plays through April 25 at the Lookingglass Theatre.

If the chick was 43 and the guy 24, everyone would go nuts. She will be with a 53 year old in her prime in 10 years. Dumb dumb, people are strange. That's like me marrying Rob Pattinson, the dude my kid likes. Seriously?! The girl was in high school a few years ago, give me a break.

If David Schwimmer were marrying a woman 19 yrs older than him, no one would bat an eye. Maybe he wants a family. And a 24 yr old woman has a better chance at giving him kids than a 43 yr old woman would.

teamtanda - my point being that Joel married far too below his age and ended up divorcing her about 5 years later. Joel learned his lesson and thus would be able to warn Schwimmer not to marry someone 19 years his junior. He's been married three times, and calling his first wife (who managed his career when he was just starting out) was NO bimbo. Geeze, you sound so angry, sounds like a personal problem to me. Get some therapy.
