Miley Cyrus Surprises Military Families With Spot on 'Hannah Montana'
While filming the last season of 'Hannah Montana,' Miley Cyrus invited the families of troops to view a live taping of the show,
PEOPLE reports.
What they didn't know was that Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray, planned to use the guests as extras in a concert scene for the final season, entitled 'Hannah Montana Forever.'
"My dad has always been super involved with the troops so [the producers] always try to find things that are close to our hearts and that we're really involved in," Miley said.
"This past December, I was in Afghanistan and Iraq and that trip inspired the writers to say let's do an episode to say thank you to the troops," Billy Ray told the magazine.
During production of the episode, children with parents deployed overseas were invited to tape greetings for their parents.
"It's going to be a satellite thing where the troops can see their kids. It's really cool that they're having the opportunity to say hi to a mom or dad they haven't seen in a long time. I think that's the coolest thing," Miley added.

Miley is beautiful and does lots of good deeds. She's always donating signed items and stuff to charities. She is a pretty good role model most of the time. Wish I could go to a Hannah taping.
