The search for Paula Abdul's next TV gig may be over.According to EW.com's Ausiello Files, the former 'American Idol' judge is in talks to join ABC's upcoming 'Star Search' reboot, which is currently eyeing a summer launch date. Sources claim that Abdul's role would involve some variation of hosting and judging, although no official word has been made.
Abdul's name has been attached to a number of projects since she abruptly left 'Idol' last summer, including ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars.' Recently, there have been rumblings that she may join Simon Cowell when 'The X Factor' heads to Fox in fall 2011, but, again, that remains a rumor.

The only person that is gay is Ellen and she is pretty good I like Ellen as judge on Idol I sometimes watch her show. I think your being judgemental I would let my kids watch ellen Oprah Trya etc.
what happened? they didnt give the job to a lesbian? finally my12 year old daughter might have a role model - I warned her that ellen oprah susie tyra wanda are all lesbos and not to follow in there footsteps

i agree. i can not stand ellen. i can not believe they put her on the show. it is almost like they are trying to kill their own show. i will follow paula. she used to be a Lakers girl!!!

And i've been watching it and i havent heard any mention of Ellen's sexuality mentioned on the show. I dont understand why anyone would think that this unprofessional trainwreck of a person would be good as a judge/host or anything else for that matter. On American Idol, she was a terrible judge who couldnt seem to speak in coherent sentences or express her thoughts in an understandable manner. Her role was pretty limited and straightforward, listen to the performances and tell us what you think, but she struggled with that. Could you imagine her trying to, in effect, do Ryan Secrests job of hosting and keeping the show moving along and organized properly? Maybe she kept it together long enough to do that Diva show, but to do it week in and week out consistently? She would be a disaster. And she would cost way more than she is worth.

I agree, enough damn gay/Lesbos, ellen makes me want to puke! Paula is hot and sassy, makes any NORMAL guy drool, whatever she is on, I will watch! Send all these lesbos to their own Gayfer island, they can play w/each other and entertain themselves, regular God Loving Americans don't like their ilk!!!

Paula is good at what she does. She knows her talent. Just keep the emotions out of it. Judge don't weep. Talent shows like this give the ones the deserve a shot at Lime Light a chance that they'd not get other wise. Don't like them don't watch them.

This is my 4th season watching AI and I'm here to tell ya it is the worse. The entire dynamics of teh show has changed with Paula gone, Ellen is just BAD and the final 12 leave much to be desired..I find the show totally boringggggggggg! Can't wait till SC brings X Factor across the pond...I watch it each season on Youtube and my inernational internet sites from Britain.
