Corey Haim's Tragic 911 Call Is Released

Judy Haim's 911 call showing a frantic attempt to revive her son, Corey Haim, has been made public.

The heartbreaking audio depicts the 'Lost Boys' actor's desperate last moments, as his mother is unable to revive him on the morning of March 10.

"He's completely, completely gone," she says at one point, according to E!Online. Hear it after the jump.

As she attempts to administer CPR, she explains to the operator: "He all of a sudden got out of bed. He wanted to go to the bathroom and he fell on the floor and I put him on the bed and then that was it."

The actor was taken to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., and pronounced dead around 3 AM. Haim had been staying with his mother in Burbank's Oakwood Apartments while helping her through cancer therapy.

The Web site features the full audio with the warning: "Not for the faint of heart."

Haim was laid to rest in his native Toronto on Tuesday in a ceremony attended by more than 200 mourners, friends and family.

Why is it so hard to understand the 911 dispatcher?! It's like he is speaking some low monotone form of altered english. If I can barely understand him and I'm not in panic mode how is it possible to understand him in a frenzied state? This call is just devastating across the board. Devastating.

The 911 dispatcher was perfectly understandable. I had no problem hearing the dispatcher at all.

Amen. Life is a precious gift and it is a shame whenever a life is lost, but I have to admit that when it is an instance of someone literally throwing their life away like this, I find I just don't really give a crap.

These celebrity deaths go back as far as Marilyn Monroe and Billie Holiday. I wish there were some help for them in this day and age. As I am not a fan of them all we do get use to their presence and it is sad when one of them dies. It seems some of these deaths could have been prevented.

Madeline, these deaths go back a lot further than that, but you're right. You would think that the town that exploits these people so egregiously would at least have some kind of support system in place for the ones who can't cope. After all, Hollywood's been Hollywood for 100 years! You would think they would have gotten it right by now.

WTF the hospital is 1 mile down the road and she was on the phone with this tool for over 10 minutes. What took them so long it was early AM there shouldn't have been any traffic. I feel so bad for her and Corey. RIP bro you will be missed by most in the 80's generation.
