Did I miss something? I didn't see her "Collapse". I saw her lay down on the stage.. which appeared like it could have been part of all her weirdness. She is so strange.... how can you tell? I think her music is "catchy".... I like to sing along. I wouldn't call her a "genius"... just one of the many talented vocal artists that has donned the stage over the years. The headlines are soooooo dramatic! From this articles headline I expected to see her carried off on a stretcher..... which I am glad to see she was not.

i'm not a fan of pop music, i like the alternative and indie stuff. that said, lady gaga brings something new to the scene. she can sing too. have you ever heard one of her stripped down performances? she has a crazy good voice. she is interesting and current and the voice of a new generation. if you don't like it, fine, don't listen to it but don't say mean and stupid things about her or the people who do like her. diversity is a good thing.

You don't get it because you prob listen to britney spears. Gaga is the Warhol of our generation only she uses music as her main source of expression. Have you ever heard an interview with her where she explains why she dresses how she does and why her performances are what they are? She is the consumate performer. One day your children will look back on her as we do on Warhol or the beatles. She will revolutionize pop as the beatles did rock. Or as Madonna did in pop or for women in mainstream music.

That's because there's nothing to "get". She uses shock tactics to gain attention. Makes me think she was abused as a kid. I saw a video clip of her before she picked up the god awful stage name. She used to be a really good singer. Now her over-the-top theatrics overshadow any talent she might have. No way I'd watch that crap when I can go listen to a real performer.

Also, I'm thinking she's not fainting due to the "stress" of performing.

Im of the Woodstock generation and have seen all the top groups since then till present. lady Gaga is indeed an intersting act. If YOU don't like her, simple just don't watch. I grew up listening to Alice Cooper, Kiss, Black Sabbath and others. Adults around me told me they were weird, but did i listen? NO. Music is for those who WANT to listen to it or those who don't want to. Its called choice. Interesting fact is, Lady Gaga is earning in excess of 100,000 dollars per day...PER DAY!
