Watch out, New York -- 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' Patti Stanger is bringing her matching-making skills to the Big Apple for the show's upcoming fourth season on Bravo. Stanger will continue to set up wealthy clients in hopes of finding them true love, but this time, she'll be trying to balance her own life and wedding planning. "We've cake tasted. We looked at venues. We're just trying to find a designer right now. All the dresses are out to here, and I want it fitted," Stanger told PopEater at Bravo's 2010 Upfront Party in New York. The designer she's most likely to choose: Marchesa.
Stanger opened up about how her fiance "slid into third base," why she's urging Jim Carrey to "put a ring on it" and her reaction to 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kim Zolciak's boyfriend, "Big Poppa." Watch what happened:

In May, the reality matchmaking star got engaged to real estate executive Andy Friedman, 51, who presented her with a 4-carat heart shaped diamond in a white-gold setting. He popped the question in Maui on May 31 -- her birthday. Stanger admits she didn't know he was "the one" at first.
"I didn't know. He was my best friend. He just slid into third base. He is one of those guys," she says.
The couple met five and a half years ago through another matchmaker and are planning for a 2010 wedding. Of course, there is still a lot of planning -- as Stanger still hasn't found her perfect dress.
While she's staying busy with her own wedding planning, there is one celebrity couple she hopes follow in her footsteps. "I love Jim Carrey and I love my funny girl, Jenny [McCarthy]. I hope that he gives her a ring. Jenny is my girl. I'd like to see them tie it up. They both had bad marriages, so I'm not sure they're in that mindset."

Ugh. Patti Stanger certainly gives two for the price of one. She is a fine example of what is wrong with television, vulgar insights into the lives of the grossly shallow, and what is wrong with marriage, which to her and hers is an excuse to have a big wedding. This sort of decadence may be entertaining, but it is not doing the families, especially the children, of this country and culture much good.

I can't believe this woman gets on TV and tells good looking women they need to change their hair or show skin here but not there etc. I think she is a man in disguise, ugly, fat, always showing lots of cellulite, no wants to see.
Birds of a feather... That bimbette would not last one day in a real business setting. And I said REAL, not pimping out the desperate misfits who stumble her way. I mean REALLY...what respectful person would want to deal with her nasty azz? As for a wedding dress, how about something appropriate for her look...like a shroud?
Frank, is that really the only criticism have? She doesn't look hot enough to be a matchmaker for other people? Bottom line, these men are PAYING her to weed out anyone who's not exceptional. When she tells a girl she looks like a hooker, she's usually right. She's not always classy, but I love that she calls egocentric, often eccentric, immature man-boys out for wanting her to find them a cookie-cutter "sweet bimbo" who worships them and will cook and clean and be their s-xtoy-for-life BUT morphs into a brilliant conversationalist when he needs to impress someone. They need to grow up, and she calls them on it.
This woman is such a pig. Her filthy mouth and now she is pimping gays, after pimping straights; the show went from bad to soft porn in one episode. I stopped watching after seeing the trailers of gay guys taking off their shirts and getting ogled by the gay millionaires. How about restricting this show to LA.
I don't like her much as a person, but she's a great business woman. I find her show entertaining but I must admit annoying sometimes. That's why I only watch it every once in a while.
cant belive this woman is a matchmaker shes the one who needs a match to who ever has the guts to go out with her just another gold digger but she gets paid for guess anyone can get a show
She is just gross. I wonder if her fiance is blind and deaf. Anyone can be a matchmaker when you have a bunch of skanks and guys that dont have the personality to go out an actually meet women on their own.You would think with all the gold diggers out there it would be easy.
She may find the right dress if she stops looking for the "perfect" dress. Human beings need to reach more for excellence and stay away from any goal of perfection to keep their sanity.
I like the Millionaire Matchmaker but I have one criticism. I am no prude but even for cable television Patti needs to tone down her vulgar language. She is crude and classless but her show is amusing and at times totally ridiculous...
Patti knows what she is doing. A lot of these men are looking for the perfect looking girl, but they also want her to be intelligent, cook, clean, make babies, be athletic ... everything. Their expectations are unreasonable. If the girl isn't perfect looking in every way, or a certain young age, they are not interested. These ridiculously high expectations continue to help these men be alone and never find Ms. Right. When Patti points out that they need to grow up and not be so shallow, and not have a huge laundry list of expectations, they resist. I cannot believe the men on there who are mid to late 40's even 50, who still want children. Get real. Patti - best of luck with your marriage. Happy for you.

Why is Patti getting married? Shouldn't she be practicing shuffleboard?
