If you don't know by now that David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel aren't the biggest Jay Leno fans, last night's episode of the 'Late Show' should be a clue."I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your participation in the Jay Leno scandal," Letterman told his guest Kimmel, referring to the time Jimmy appeared on 'The Jay Leno Show' and bashed its host repeatedly, as well as the time he did his own show dressed as Leno.
"I've known Jay for a long, long time and it just got to be a lot of fun," David added of the pleasure he took in needling the 'Tonight Show' star.
"I would like to keep it going, you had him, we were drowning him, and you threw a lifesaver out during the Super Bowl," Kimmel shot back.

Jay Leno was never entertaining or fun. I'll stick to David Letterman anytime.
Oh and by the way Jay Leno he's just a nice person, Letterman ! He's apparently an adulterer and liar. Kimmel. Does he really need Letterman to boost his ratings? I guess so!

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will bet all the money in the world that you're a republican.
Jimmy WHO???
Cant stand Letterman. He is so jealous of Jay. And I never cared for Conan. it is so clear that Jimmy and David are trying to bring Jay down. Jay is the best and the only late night talk show I watch. Love me some Jay. And I am 24 years old. letterman and Jimmy suck. And Conan is a big cry baby. Go Jay.

I agree, Patty. Jay is the best late night host out there. Since March 1, it's been a pleasure watching The Tonight Show again. Jay is perfect whenever he presents a monologue. Conan was arkward doing it when he had The Tonight Show. Conan only appeals to people who are jerks and have bad demeanors. Kimmel and Letterman are also jerks. After Jay said nice things about Dave when they reunited for that Super Bowl ad for CBS, I don't understand why Letterman still bashes Jay. Dave is just not a good friend at all. He's too envious of Jay. So is Kimmel because he doesn't host and will never ever take the reins of The Tonight Show. It was nice of Jay to invite members of The Chicago Blackhawks hockey team to a taping of a show. Kimmel, Letterman, and Conan wouldn't even do that. They'll only invite NY and LA teams.
Amazingly insightfull for such a young lady
I agree.
They are so jealous of Leno.
I am in total agreement... WEll said.
Kimmel does some funny skits, David has a quick mind, and Leno can bring out the best in an interview. but this teasing of Leno is low class and especially for Letterman, who is a slime bucket and Kimmel who is just trying to get a better slot on TV and really is not funny himself as his delivery sucks.
Jay seems more close to his fans and does not deserve all the mocking as he just is a pawn with the networks as is most.
Maybe Jay should have retired as he said. that is his only mistake.

Did anyone watch him on Oprah???? Jay wanted to leave and N.B.C would not let him out of his contract. It was all about business..and conan wasn't getting the ratings, and if anyone really beleives what dave and jimmy are saying about jay..they are just giving them what they want...IT IS ALL A ACT!!!! RATINGS!!!
When I saw that Jimmy Kimmel was to be a guest on the David Letterman show, I knew that he was invited, just for that purpose. Jay is back on top. Kimmel is now part of the Letterman army. Do they think that being so mean is really that cool? The green-eyed monster, once again, raises its ugly head.

Exactly right!!!!!!!!!!!
Low-class. They both just went down a couple more notches in my book.

How soon Letterman forgets that he was going through some rough times just a few months ago. At least Leno has enough class to have let it go and not continue to bring it up. And yet Letterman has the audacity to continue his war against Leno by bringing in other forces such as Kimmel. Leno has class and morals and scruples whereas the other two, judging from their personal lives, have none of the above. Leno deserves credit and hopefully his ratings will continue to soar and keep Letterman fuming.
