If you don't know by now that David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel aren't the biggest Jay Leno fans, last night's episode of the 'Late Show' should be a clue."I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your participation in the Jay Leno scandal," Letterman told his guest Kimmel, referring to the time Jimmy appeared on 'The Jay Leno Show' and bashed its host repeatedly, as well as the time he did his own show dressed as Leno.
"I've known Jay for a long, long time and it just got to be a lot of fun," David added of the pleasure he took in needling the 'Tonight Show' star.
"I would like to keep it going, you had him, we were drowning him, and you threw a lifesaver out during the Super Bowl," Kimmel shot back.

I agree with you. Letterman & Kimmel, "Dumb & Dumber". Perfect pair.

I love Dave Letterman. There's nothing fake about him. If he makes a mistake he owns up to it and Jay Leno panders to whomever can do him the most good. He will never be as good as Johnny Carson, God rest his soul. David is just David and doesn't try to be what people want him to be.

Leno: A class act.
Kimmel & Letterman: Petty, school girl prattle. Smacks of envy & jealousy.

Way to go AOL. More anti Jay Leno stuff.

Does anyone remember all the way back to the beginning of this whole thing? NBC announced that Conan was taking over the Tonight show. Leno initially said he didn't want to leave. Basically NBC forced him into the 10 PM slot. Why blame Leno when the whole deal backfired on NBC? They should have let Leno keep the Tonight show and given the 10 PM slot to Conan.

Exactly!!
Jay is the best connan ,david and jimmy are just silly

Media is twisting story , they show a partial clip , I saw the whole thing Jimmy and Dave were joking , and Dave and Jay made up , secondly Dave IS not jealous , he's still in number 1 slot and has 10 times more money than Jay , so he has nothing to be jealous about , you guys need to do research before you open your big mouths .

not crazy about jay, but even more than that i am not crazy about two aginst one.

Letterman had an affair. Maybe a couple of them. I don't think Leno is in the same boat as Letterman in that respect. Leno didn't do anything Letterman or Kimmel would have done if put in the same situation. Letterman ought to blame NBC, not Leno. Wasn't it NBC that got Letterman tossed to CBS? Letterman's an ass and a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic.

i would expect it from david but not from kimmel

Dave just needs to let it go. He is still upset that Leno got the Tonight Show and he didn't. The reason is obvious. Jay treats his guests with respect. Letterman doesn't always do that.
Conan lost ratings because he ran the same gags every night. How many times did we need to see his vampire assistant run out on the street and burn up on the sidewalk? It was funny once but not continually. I liked Conans show before but some of his segments on the Tonight Show were embarrassing to watch.
Jay did nothing wrong. Letterman would have done the same thing. If someone offered you your old job back, would you turn it down? Turning it down would not have given the job back to Conan.
I am not sure what Jimmy Kimmels problem is with Jay.

Kimmel and Lettermen are so jelous of Jay that they have to say somethin NEGATIVE ABOUT HIM. wHY DON'T THEY TRY TO IMPROVE THEIE OWN SHOWS AND MAYBE THEY CAN GAIN RATINGS

Just a couple of casual observations, since I rarely watch any of them:
1) Who cares anyway?
2) The jealousy exhibited by Letterman and the others who snipe at Leno is the most revealing ingredient of the mess. Has Leno struck back at any of his critics? To me it looks like 'class' is all with Leno.

Okay I am 23 years old, I am no choir boy but Jay is definitely my favorite, letterman is a goofball and I started to get into kimmel when jay left, he can be funny and the show can be decent but basically his co workers carry the show, like guilermo? for example, he has basically no skits, and he does a informercial before every show which shows me his show is very low budget, but he has shown he has no class with this latest leno scandal, hes just upset leno almost took his job, and then he claims he took conans, so its almost like he wants to get the bully out because the bully gets the best ratings, but if kimmel had a clue hed realize conan forced jay out and when conan failed like anyone could have predicted they gave leno his show back, leno just does what they tell him, it just a shame leno wont fire back at kimmel.
