Celebrities get tipsy just like the rest of us. But it's the rare glimpses into the unfiltered minds of inebriated stars that make us go gaga every time Mariah Carey gets sloshed or David Hasselhoff eats the saddest burger in history.
After the jump, the 12 best sauced celebrity moments. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Drink green beer (if you're over 21!), but stay safe and don't end up on YouTube like these celebs.
Mariah Carey "Please forgive me, because I'm a little bit, um..." Yeah, Mimi, we know what you were about to say.
Kiefer Sutherland
Notably wonderful for its brevity and randomness.
Britney Spears
In this Kevin Federline-directed opus, Britney speculates whether 'Back to the Future' could truly occur.
James Brown The Godfather of Soul pretends to take part in this interview by belligerently squawking lyric and song titles.
Paula Abdul
Being sober and watching videos of drunk people is so much funnier than doing the same in real life, no?
Danny Devito
"I knew it was the last seven Limoncellos that would get me," says a rambunctious Devito, who spent the night boozing with George Clooney and may or may not have come straight to the set of 'The View.'
Ben Affleck
He clutches/gropes the Quebecois interviewer for four minutes, mimicking her accent and speaking ad nauseum about her breasts and her scent. It doesn't get much more uncomfortable or inappropriate, folks. He actually growls, "Stay still. Stop it. What are you doing?" Warning: Video contains racy content.
Orson Welles The 'Citizen Kane' director clearly sipped an ample portion of this French champagne before attempting to tout its excellence for a commercial.
John Stamos Uncle Jesse blamed jet lag on this fiasco.
David Hasselhoff Perhaps the most awkward, but only because it's the most drunken. And sad. In this clip, the 'Hoff can hardly eat or speak, and he can't wear a shirt at all.
Joe Namath The legendary Jets quarterback was sloshed during this sideline interview in 2003. And, oh, he really wanted to kiss the reporter.
Bonus: Jeff Goldblum "Drunk" Apple Commercial
Amazing how much funny can come from slowing down a tape.
These videos are insulting to all Irish. We are not a bunch of drunks and resent the stereotype that we are. We are a proud people with a rich hertiage outside of drink. We were the first slaves in America and had to deal with all kinds of discrimination. We overcame and even put one of our own in the whitehouse. Remember until 1941 the sign: Help Wanted No Irish Need Apply appeared across America.
You would not dare insult any other ethinic group this way.

Why St Patricks day for celebrating drunks? Can you imagine the explosion if it was celebrating a black holiday? An incredibly rude headline and it deserves am appology.
St Patricks Day was not intended to be a drunken holiday. St Patrick was a Baptist missionary. Not exactly someone that would go out and pound down a case of Guiness.
St.Patrick was a Catholic, not a Baptist, but still not a drunk. The ideaof St. Patrick's Day being a drunken holiday is insulting to all people of Irish descent.
If I was Irish, I'd be really insulted right now. All of the people in your videos are Americans so it's ridiculous to associate them with St. Patrick's Day. Actually, I'm embarrassed watching my fellow Americans make fools odf themselves on TV. Whoever put this article and videos up should apologize to the Irish and take them down.
This headline and column is extremely offensive. St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and of New York. I find this to be an insult to both my religion and my ethnicity!
As these videos prove, Americans have no problem getting drunk and making fools of themselves. What have these idiots got to do with St. Patrick's Day? Whoever wrote this an idiot.
I am of Irish descent, and was not the least bit insulted. Maybe the rest of you just need to take the stick out of your ass and get a sense of humor and stop taking things so seriously.
despite my screen name, i'm irish. and you know what? so what. this doesn't insult or offend me at all. lighten up, folks. important issues need your consideration.
If they put the headline: Top 10 Black Celebs Arrests for Martin Luther King day, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be on every national tv show demanding millions and and an apology. But it is okay to insult the Irish on what is considered to be their holiday and a holy day in Ireland.
So what if St. Patrick's Day was never about drinking? Christmas isnt supposed to be about Santa Claus and worthless gifts, Easter originally had nothing to do with eggs and bunnies, and Thanksgiving didn't start out as a big football day. It's our American right to bastardize the holidays! Oversensitive people should relax a little! Political correctness goes too far when it sucks the fun out of light-hearted play. I'm Irish, too, and I find the key to health and longevity is to not take things too seriously, oh, and...to DRINK LOTS OF BEER ON ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!!!!
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

My heritage is important to me. Preserving it and teaching my children to proud to be Irish Americans is worth my consideration.
