'Deadliest Catch' star Jake Harris has been charged with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license, after a Feb. 18 arrest in Seattle, EOnline.com reports.Harris was initially arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence and a hit-and-run, but prosecutors didn't believe they could make those charges stick.
If convicted, the 21-year-old faces up to 15 months in prison.

uh..he was arrested 1st on suspension of driving under the influence and hit & run. it was dropped because they couldnt make it stick..and 2nd, on reckless driving...my opinion..if you play, you pay...it amazes me how some people dont see what the article really says

Actually his breathalizer was .00 - he was NOT drinking. Being arrested on a suspicion of something is not the same as being convicted of that charge. Apparently they couldn't make it stick because he was NOT drunk. Hit & run, if it's true-shame on him. He should pay for that. Reckless driving.....15 miles an hour or more over the speed limit, any cop can write a reckless driving ticket. Some people seem to forget that THEY have driven 15 mph or more over the limit. Oh, and of course, if the media printed it, it is probably true ! DUH

Jake, you always seemed like your dad's favorite even though Josh is 5 times the man you will ever be. you think you know it all and you used to get your dad so upset and he did not need that with all of his health problems. you are a spoiled brat. grow up and earn respect from people don't ride around on your dad's name getting away with all kinds of crap. You still look like you are using. you treat your brother like crap and talk to him like he is below you. i really hope you are not using for your sake and everybody around you. Josh you are a wonderful caring man, I know you will carry out your dad's dream. I know your dad loved you josh but your brother coned your dad and made you dad think that he loved him when really he just used him to make money for his wasteful habits. Jake you have the maturity level of a 15 year old. Grow up!

Jake is an addict. That's why he blew a 0.00 - he was loaded on pills NOT booze! For crying out loud, the needed rehab big time, got it and hopefully will now keep up with the program. All we can do is hope. If not he needs to pay the consequences like everyone else. He has to grow up and face his responsibilities to his brother and to the boat as well as to himself.
