Marie Osmond returned to the stage in Las Vegas with brother Donny just 11 days after the tragic death of her son, Michael Bryan, but the star is finally taking some extra time off to mourn her loss. Osmond's rep, Alan Nierob, confirmed that Osmond was canceling a week of performances at the Flamingo Hotel to spend time with her family.Nierob says the Osmonds will miss five shows before resuming performances March 23. The show is dark Sundays and Mondays.

You stupid people out there. I lost a daughter at 36 years, I am 64. I also have a daughter 31 missing for the last 5 years. Now, if you don't know pain like this . SHUT UP. It's not how you raise them it's what they do as adults, you can't control that. I had 5 children, all were smart, all turned out very good, it's what goes thru their mine. As a parent you should always be involved in you childs life adults or not........As a mother all children need their mothers love no matter what age
I was always involved with my kids, even as adults, but you can't be with them 24-7. When they are married, what you should sleep with them?? I love my kids very much,and I was with them as much as I could be, and my grandkids... I am raising 2 of them now. Don't tell me about kids. I have raised 6 so far and am working on number 7. Who ever thinks you can be there 24-7 you can't. I am so sick of people thinking its always the parents. It's not! you can only do so much. Hell, my oldest son lives in Barrow, Alaska and has 4 kids. You think I can run over there daily I live in Illinois. I talk to them 3-5 times a month. You can't live their lives. And, you don't always see red flags. I know. I feel so sorry for Marie, the pain is great. I know. I lost 2 adult children...

No two people grieve the same. When something like the loss of a child happens to you, then you can tell us what it feels like and when you went back to work, etc. Some remarks are just plain rude. Grow up! Also, learn to use words that are in the dictionary.
