Now it's Kate Winslet's turn to pull out of a public event in the wake of unwanted publicity around her personal life.Winslet has quietly removed her name from the list of celebs expected to attend Monday's New York premiere of the HBO documentary she narrated -- 'A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism,' according to OK magazine. The site claims that Winslet was originally listed as an attendee.
The film follows an Icelandic mother who travels to the US to research new therapies for her 10-year-old son who is severely autistic.

Not having followed who's whose husband, I was really surprised to see Sandra's Husband was Jesse, who looked like an ugly wrestler from hoodlum city. She has so much class; I hope she'll find someone worthy of the treasure that she is.

I am not here to sit in judgment on who Sandra chose to marry, I do however judge the man, Jesse James, because whether he cheated physically or not, it's clear that he was unable to cope with the success his wife is currently achieving. There are many husbands and wives who go the same route as Jesse, shame on them for not being 100% there for their spouses. I only hope Sandra can get through this with the same dignity she has always shown, congrats on the Oscar Sandra, and we all hope you whether this personal storm as well!

Huh?? Since when does an Oscar winning writer and director like Mendes qualify him as a "dud". Youre nothing more than a garden-variety village idiot. Best thing about Winslett is she stays AWAY from relationships with wandering eyed actors, better yet, musicians. Smart girl. And it's an amicable split. Best of luck to BOTH of these good people. Winslett is one of our fav. actresses and one of the more brilliant in a sea of dim bulbs. Good luck to both.

So...who pulled out of Kate after she pulled out of New York?

I agree w/Palmer....the chemistry between Kate and Leo on screen is magical....perhaps it would be the same off screen? Worth the chance, Kate. But it is a little soon to be thinking in those terms. Best of luck, you're one of my favorite actresses. I've watched "The Holiday" @ least a dozen times! Chin up girlfriend.

Curly, that's just a rude thing to say...

Bullock and Winslet are pros. If my marriage was to break up, I don't know if my employer would allow me to cite, "unforeseen personal reasons" to book off work. If you're paid gazillions, fulfill your obligations, ladies. Fall to piece at night.

Time 4 the public 2 call a foul when the over produced get away with cancelling appearances bcuz they R having a bad day. What about the paying public who watches their movies & R responsible 4 their fame?????
